floyd is just not as impressive when he fights southpaws. he's an agressive fighter with southpaws and its just not his best style. Every time he fights aggresive he gets caught. I see ortiz beating him due to styles.

Not long ago Victor Conte was saying that boxers spend way too much time in the gym. The workouts should be shorter and the boxers should take more time to rest. I tend to believe him. When you look at the elite of the sport it's all about intensity..days off are good indeed!

  6. well we will see man is super smart fighter smartist fighter in the game

I have been watching Ortiz fights lately and there is no way he beats Floyd. IMO he doesn't even belong in the same ring with Floyd. At first, I thought the fight would be competitive but this fight is easy work for Floyd. It is actually hilarious that people think Ortiz has a good/great chance to beat Floyd. If you don't believe me you will seen on Sept 17.

  10. i think people hope its his power but its not like they did with shane power bigger stronger not the case at all

Sad thing is now I'm only going by the clips I've seen but Vic looks to only be training for strength and punching power, I don't think he's trying to improve technically, the strategy I see is basically trying to overwhelm Floyd, there will be no plan b...

Similar to Shane's comments, "I'm just as fast", "im stronger", "i punch harder", but none of that **** played out and surprise there was no plan b...Ortiz saying things like "i don't see nothing special", "he's not that great", "he doesn't belong in the same ring with me"...

Sounds like over-confidence & under-estimating a proven p4p great, sounds like a recipe for destruction to me and by the way, Ortiz looked slow as hell on the speed bag...

24/7 confirmed to me that once again Ortiz is going to go full ****** again. take a look back at some of his fights especially the Lamont Peterson fight their comes a point where he starts to do this thing he thinks is called boxing, but its just him in survival mode as really he is winded confused. He also goes full ****** after getting a knock down. If this thing gets anywhere near round 9 expect some wtf is he doing moments from Ortiz. He just dose not have the stamina, he dose not have the mind frame for training and is not taking this seriously enough to push him self.
The way he was out of breath after 10 rounds he looked like a asmatic.

  13. true that is what he is doing im stronger bigger more power

but to floyd its skill ring smarts adjustments its called a counter in kung fu

you could be 400 pounds the arts is counter no matter what size there is allways a counter

YES! That is how I know when a fighter can't beat Floyd. When a fighter can't tell you why they would win from a skill standpoint. In order to beat Floyd you have to out think him. Speed and power don't mean anything when your not landing.

Work ethic would be fighting the best not retiring when the best career fights are sitting in your division. Training is one thing, fighting is another.
Floyd talks the talk but has yet to walk walk. He rather have an easy "0" than rise to the top. That is not dedication. He let his #1 status slip away because he is not dedicated at all times.
