It was clearly a robbery of the worst kind. Prescott CLEARLY and decisively won 6 rounds without any doubt, and 1 was a 10/8. There were 2 rounds that could have gone his way as well, the 7th and 12th I think, but Dudey did have a few 10 second bursts which made the crowd roar and could have swayed the judges. But if this fight were in any other country than the EU, it would have been a 7-5 with 2 10/8 rds for Prescott.

But, it's his own fault b/c he, as well as EVERYONE on the planet, knew that he wasn't going to win a decision is the UK. He didn't train/was drained, whatever, and since he fought little from rd 8-11, the only rds I gave Dudey clearly, it was enough for the WBA to not open an investigation, and allow the win to Dudey.

But if the WBA was serious about themselves, which we all know they aint, they'd order and immediate rematch outside of the UK. But that aint gonna happen, and Breidis career is basically over, relegated as a Bfighter or less from here on out.

Yeah, b/c the Germans just love McCloskey soooooooo much.

I am being real, and if the WBA was real, Wladimir would be their HW champion, and Prescott vs McCloskey2 would be mandated before Dec 2011.

One of the worst results ever. The ring side commentators were a disgrace. Appaling decision, but this is what happens in boxing, Prescott and his camp were naive. And the idiot the most corrupt and incompetent judge Terry O'Connor scored it 115 - 113 prescott!! WTF was that about!!

I only saw the 2nd half of the fight, but from what ive seen Dudey deserved a draw at best and thats being generous. It was a close fight, but if Prescott knocked him down and won 6 of the earlier rounds I missed decisively, and a few were potentially even rounds such as round 12, It does seem like a bit of a robbery. Mccloskey still deserves credit for the heart he showed in the last 4 rounds though.

Yeah, 3 of which were his clearest rounds. I gave Dudey 1 clear rd of the first 6, and 3 of the last 5 with a tight 7th.
Robbery is not good enough a term for this result, but it goes to show how boxers coming from the new world MUST train harder and prepare to fight 3 minutes all 12 rds at a pace or risk being robbed by the 30 seconds of 7 rds in which their opponents flurry with arm/body/head featherfisted combos.

It definitely wasn't a robbery on the level of Williams-Lara or Alexander-Matthysse, and I believe that this time it was a genuinely close fight that could have gone either way (I scored it for Prescott by a hair). I ****ing laughed my ass off when McCloskey started to try and walk Prescott down in the last few rounds.

It's obvious from this fight that both guys are mediocre. Good fight though, I enjoyed it.

it still amazes people that when you leave it the hands of judges...its out of your control.....theres nothing scarier than the words
" after 12 rounds of boxing we a the decision"

only people worse than the average boxing judges when it comes to using their brains is the average ****ing dummy u.s. juror in a court of law...leave your fate in the hands of average joe ass clowns you can get 20 years for running a stop sign and injuring someone...or you can kill 2 people, leave your bloody foot prints and be found not guilty

I only seen glimpses of the fight so can really comment on it til I see the fight but all the highlights Sky were showing after the fight were Prescott landing clean shots on McCloskey.

two of the judges had McCloskey one point ahead. i thought it was razor close. i watched it live and thought maybe a draw. Presscott lost five rounds straight , the last was close and some other rounds were close.

unlucky for presscott but he looked awfully weak and tired from the 6th round on. strange fight definitely hard to score.
