Getting a lot of Vitali atg threads after this fight. Is a victory over a guy like Adamek that good? i thought he was a massive underdog?

Adamek's great uncle in a Varsaw nursery home strongly believed his great nephew will beat Vitali.Other than that, nobody else.

Adamek would have beaten Ali, Lewis and Tyson on the same night so this puts Vitali's win in perspective.

I thought he had a shot. My thoughts were based on two things; him using a fight-plan which had him trying to maximize his lateral movement and throw flurries while changing the angles while occasionally mixing it up on the inside, and the possibility that Vitali would come in showing his age a bit more.

    Neither of those things happened.

i wasnt even dissapointed with the fight sort of expected it. Adamek was never hard to hit even at lhw. Not vitalis fault but come on here people.

Not really. I did expect Adamek to make the fight a little more competitive though. What did surprise was; I wasn't expecting a one sided domination where Vitali would carry him through the rounds.

Ill be honest in thinking he was a live opponent with a shot at capturing a decision against a 40 year old Vitali. My official prediction was a Vitali UD after some trouble early on due to Adameks movement. So yes I was surprised at the complete domination and give Vitali major props

Yes, the Poles. Jetski thought that Adamek would win and Rumsfeld picked him in the prediction legue. Then he got his common sense back and changed his pick.

why can no1 grasp the fact people knew that vitali would win but didnt think he would win in the maner he did which means he deserves some huge props...but there are always gona be wankers who cant give them...im seriously convinced vitali and wlad should let people hit them more knock them down more then win while behind on scorecards with knockouts then theyl be called great fighters....geezus

nonsense. Vitali most likely will be an Atg but it wont be for fighting Adamek. Adamek struggled with McBride ffs. i honestly believe Vitali let him off the hook and could have gotten him out of there earlier. i was expecting an early stoppage

and i would have been right if vitali didnt feel sorry for adamek. if a guy cant get out of the way of a fat mcbride and was running from fat chris you really think he wouldnt get ****ed up by vitali.

I honestly did believe that Adamek had chance to beat Vitali. Allthough the odds were very very very little. Adamek could have won by KO but since he was fighting Vitali and not his brother Wladimir there is better chance to win in lottery than hit homerun against Vitali. The other way he could have beaten Vitali was that Vitali would get injured during the fight which seemed to actually be possible when he slipped in round 8 ad it looked like he might have hurt his foot or something. Other than those he had no chance at all to win against Vitali.

Adamek seemed to hold back, I dont know wha this problem was, Vitali has 2 punches in his arsenal, Jab and straight right, Adamek has the speed to avoid most of those, i dont understand why he was trying to outjab Vitali! He should of known he'd have to work his way on the inside, and beast on Vitali.
