When it comes down to all-time great heavyweights discussions Wlad will always have the stronger resume, but Vitali is just the more natural fighter. So he had weight advantage on Adamek, nothing unusual at HW, while height advantage is part of every other division. But his speed, reflexes and agility what sets him apart, his sense of punches coming, timing, accuracy, unpredictablity, you could see Adamek, a great fighter with very good abilities, having trouble instantly and there's this dude in front of him, hands down and landing punches you cannot see coming.

In a way it was maybe the greatest performance of any Klitschko fight as Adamek was a proven and legit World CW Champion, just never had the hype to make it something like Tyson/Lewis-Holyfield or Wlad-Haye. But believe me, THIS performance was straight out of history books. Haters allowed to comment.

Was good enough to only lose to Dawson and steamroll the CW division beating such names as Cunningham. Not Holyfield good obviously, but much better than Haye of excellent speed and power, but not much more.

I do rate Adameks work, good runs at LHW, Cruiserweight and Heavyweight were he beat top fighters in each division is remarkable and it's hard to criticise his work ethic and effort, along with his hunger for big fights. I just dont really rate his performances. The majority of his wins have been very close and he's been in trouble in a lot of his bouts. Close wins over Briggs, Cunningham and Arreola, as well as being hurt in all 3 of Those fights and against Michael Grant too. Adamek is a fine fighter, but he's also flawed and not in my opinion, a top level Heavyweight.

For this era he was good, for many other era's he would have been a non entity.

Vitali is an all time great, end of.

    He's just so ****ing awesome.

  8. This could well may be Vitalis greatest performance (definitely since comeback). I was amazed by the Arreola fight but the Vitali from last night looked younger, fresher and better than ever.

For all his great determination, Adamek just isn't much of an opponent, at least in a historical sense. It doesn't say much if this was the best performance by a Klitschko if it was against the same guy who had been outclassed by Chad Dawson and struggled against Paul Briggs even when his opponents didn't have a massive size advantage over him.

Vitali's longevity is impressive, and credit to both Klitschko's for doing what your supposed to do when your opponent his outmatched, but if Adamek is a top 3 Heavyweight, it only further proves how weak the division currently is. Hell, he got to the top 3 by beating a single rated contender.

Vitali quit on his stool against Byrd. Wlad tore his rotator cuff against Chagaev made his opponent quit and worried later.. I´m not much into Wlads role as being the little brother of someone. I think its bull. When Vitali and Lewis fought, at the time of the stoppage Lewis was winning it big in my opinion. he likely would have destoyed him. I actually think Vitali was lucky that he got cut. if he had got cleanly ko´d i doubt he´d been able to bounce back the way the baby klit has done. Thats why I think if they had happened to fight in a proper era Wlad came out the better and Vitali would have been more of a gatekeeper. Wlad never failed a drug test acceppted Povetkins osdt demand without an eye blink, i´m not judging here but with Vitali its a different story and its very possible that he couldn´t be as strong as he is in former eras.Vitalis strengths are his physical attributes and workrate so he has to be more aggressive and therefore more fan friendly. hes actually a pressure fighter. Wlads strengths are speed explosiveness and punching power hes a puncher. Each has built a good style around their strenghts. Wlad however has absorbed what is useful, droped the useless jab, lefthook, right cross, great footwork and all kind of defense tools right now its just perfect for him and I don´t see why he should not be able to get the very best out of his potential when he had to fight the very best. Ali, Lewis, Wlad are probably the most talented hw fighters ever imo

I dont get this. How can anyone say that yesterdays performance was the best af any Klitschko fight is beyond me. I thought Vitaliy didn't look his best and that he looked much better against Peter and Arreola, if we are looking only at his comeback fights. As for a Klitschko fight, then Wlad-Chagaev is way better technically and overall. Chagaev is a proven HW champ who had a much better resume than Adamek, whose only good win is Arreola and thats it.

Vitali may be the tougher or the more "natural" fighter of the two,but there is no credible argument to be made that he's achieved more in his career than Wlad. There is a significant gap between the two in regards to overall resume and accomplishments.

Wlad would have handled Adamek just as easily, if not easier.

Instead of the lean-back jab and overhand attack it would have been the straight-up stiff laser 1-2. Either way Adamek has no chance to get inside and gets his face sliced and diced en route to a mercy stoppage. (or in Wlad's case, the more plausible out-cold knockout).
