yeah, to be fair to Wlad, it's possible he just panicked slightly. But that shot definitely made him hold and grab Haye immediately.

 

I agree with that, Wlad is more about "anxiety" than actual "chin." Now with his confidence boosted with utter dominations of his latest opponents, he can handle the pressure & counter off it. Wlad became a great fighter, Vitali is a born fighter.

 

I have just watched the fight again and can see no evidence of Haye running away like the Klit nuthuggers would have us believe.

Looking at it again both fighters were unwilling to take risks as they both respected the others power which led to a stalemate and Wlad using his jab to get the win.

Plenty of the rounds were close though and it wasn`t a complete beat down as the deluded Klit nuthuggers are saying.

 

I think Wlad probably won 9 of 12 Rounds. But he never once really dominated the rounds. And yes, while Haye was definitely not attacking him, Wlad wasn't exactly what you would call an aggressor either.

As far as the nuthuggers, you can't really pay too much attention to their analysis, although I know they get a little annoying when you're actually trying to have a level-headed discussion.

People like Ruskull are going to be much better Klit fans than those others.

 

i think he done that because he **** himself thinking no way hes knocking me out in the last round after ive just schooled him lol...he did grap him tho but there was a look towards the camera which you could see he was fine

 

who do you wanna see wlad in the ring with next??or are you not to fussed on the guy??

 

Yeah when he grabbed him he probably said to himself:

"Hell no, *****! You ain't bout to KO me after all this ****!"

I think he took the safe way out... Which I have no problem with. Cause had he allowed Haye to actually follow up with a good clean shot, that fight would have gotten interesting real quick.

 

I want him to fight Haye again, really.


I also want to see him in there with Helenious.

 

I too want to see a Haye rematch. I'd like to see Haye fight them both win or lose.

He's currently the best HW aside from the brothers, and when he leaves, it's going to be hard to enjoy any fights that aren't under k2 promotions, and even those fights are now looking horribly one sided

 

i actually think haye would fare better agains big vit tbh..i personly think hes no chance against wlad..i do wanna see wlad in the ring with someone his own size tho its been a while since weve had wlad in with another super heavy...helenius is to green still..i really wasnt impressed atall with his last bout

 

I cant make up my mind about Wlads performence. He did just barely enough to win rounds, and you can say that is to fight scared. But there was a lot of pride at stake. Giving Haye a KO opportunity and have to spend the rest of your life listening to his bragging could make anyone suicidal. Playing it safe seems somewhat understandable.

You could actually see in some rounds when Haye landed Wlad came straight back at him. Chasing him until he had made up for the punch Haye landed. Then going back to safety mode again.

 

Haye would do better in a second bout against Wlad, it's still only his 3rd or 4th HW fight remember, not saying he would win, but unlike most of the other opponents he showed that he had the ability to win, something the likes of Adamek, Arreola etc do not.

He'd definitely do better against Vitali, Haye was faster than Wlad but Wlad was still fast himself, and athletic, Vitali is a decent amount slower and has less power, but probably awkward

He has also said numerous times he doesn't think Haye has enough power to trouble a Klitschko so I can't see him worrying about his beard

Could be very interesting, Vitali will be easier to hit than Wlad was, and I imagine Haye will be just as hard to hit

Wonder how he will try to cope with that odd, hook come jab from the knee though, that has to be the oddest punch in boxing

 

haye asked wlad to come forward all night..and he got what he asked for..dont know what more you where expecting...

 

yea i get what your saying man..but we also have to think haye would be there to take shots from vitali due to haye trying to land his own shots.as we all know haye when he fights agressive is very hitable...had to laugh at jim watt last night saying about vitalis jab coming from the knee and adamak couldnt do see them coming lol
