Lewis, once the Klits get into the ring with a skilled, even sized fighter, things kind of look a bit different.

We will never know. The only thing we do know 100% for sure is that a fading Lewis wanted no part of a rematch at all and opted to retire, which was the right choice. Prime for prime Lewis wins a close decision Imo.

One thing that can't be denied is that Vitali get better after that fight, you can say Lennox brought out the inner fighter in Vitali. But you can't say whether or not Lewis would've been able to get in better shape & beat the version of Vitali that smacked the **** outta Sanders & Danny Williams.

That part will will never know because Lewis chose to retire instead :deal.

Lewis was so lucky to open that cut over Vitali-he knew he would get slaughtered in a re-match,his shocked expression in the fight says it all.
Why would he give up the biggest pay day of his life and retire if he thought he could win a return? He knew everyone wanted to see it-why did he retire?
Because he knew he would be KO'd. Simple as.
I'm a Lewis fan and a Brit, but the truth is the truth.

    A 40y/o Vitali UDs a 37 y/o Lewis, but a 33 y/o Vitali definitely TKOs a 37 y/o Lewis.
