Has any elite fighter ever had poorer footwork than Vitali?

Seriously, his legs are just terrible. He simply ponders around the ring, following his opponent with no attempt to cut the ring off. He throws shots when he is off balance, his entire base is far too wide apart and he has no defensive movement apart from in his upper body. It's terrible. His balance was awful last night too, which was emphasized when he threw a punch and fell over without any reason other than poor balance.

I'm being objective. Any boxing fan who doesn't pickup on Vitali's flaws is hugely biased.

I noticed that he's always on his toes. That's very impressive for someone his weight, and a fundamental habit in stance and concerning footwork.

He lumbers, but he lumbers efficiently and effectively. Conventional technique can't completely apply to a fighter with the size and dimensions of someone like Vitali, but it gets the job done. While his guard and balance aren't perfect, they are certainly part of an elite skillset.

You should actually watch the fights before you comment. Then you'd not
    make these idiotic posts.

    1. If his movement was so terrible, why couldn't Adamek touch him? Answer: It's because his movement was extremely good. Vitali's style is not conventional, he does his own thing, but it's very effective.

    2. He fell over because his ankle twisted, it was a one time thing, big deal. Vitali dominated the ENTIRE fight and you come along and mention a half second ankle twist. :patsch :-(

    Poor footwork?

Have you not realized he's in complete balance 99.99% of the time. I don't know about you, but whatever he does, it's obviously working for him.

His footwork is **** I agree. I was noticing that a lot even while doing mitts with his trainer. He makes it work though so I can't complain

I did lol at the fall yesterday after half a second of disbeleif that Adamek could have dropped him with a clash of heads.

He looks...how can I can I say...knock kneed, looks like his feet face outside too much or something

He's unconventional and looks frankly goofy at times, it's not to say he's poor though

Does seem to have trouble moving laterally however

Of course he has **** footwork, thats why nobody can hit him or avoid being hit by him. Makes total sense, thanks for clearing that up.

    jack it doesnt matter mate.

hes 6 foot 7 and weighs in over 240 pounds for most of his fights. you know what that means.

he would beat every heavyweight in history. hes a top 3 atg and h2h number 1. hell if ali was fighting in this era he'd be the third best heavyweight since ali was only 6"3 and around 210 pounds

Something other than the "norm", or "conventional" does not = ****.
Like you said, Vitali makes it work.

Vitali was doing whatever he wanted, chasing Adamek around the ring at times, controlling it from the middle, moving Adamek to the corners, etc...
