I don't understand why the art of Brazilian Jujitsu can't be given some respect by boxing fans? Its classified as "two gay men rolling on each other." Any sport that takes over a decade to achieve a Blackbelt deserves the utmost respect.
until we see the ratings, how do we know who ***** slapped who? "MMA is predictable and boring." you could say the same thing about every Klitschko fight of the past 4+ years I knew they were going to blow out chambers, Rahman, Ibragimov, Chagaev, Haye etc ... no sense of excitement what so ever both Klitschko's are rather technically sound. But if you've seen 3-4 of their fights, they all tend to go the same way .. give or take. This content is protected : I've noticed this from UFC owner Dana White quite a bit This content is protected : boxing stars on occasion have **** talked about MMA (Mayweather, Hopkins) and ***********.com posts MMA news on occasion. Yet the MMA site sherdog.com doesn't post anything boxing .. why is that?
MMA is the easy way to be a fighter, it's easy to be tough guy 2-10 minutes. it is very difficult to be a great boxer.
atsch Not into dudes roling around in spandex with their cocks in each others faces . REVERCE NAKED CHOKEHOLD lol .
Bunch of amateurs built up as pros, sloppy as ****, hugging half naked men on the ground gay ****. No thanks, I'll stick to boxing.
Listen... It's just hard to watch...kinda like something like golf is to me or a number of other things on TV I can't really attend myself to watch...
Only in MMA can..... - A professional wrestler win the heavyweight title after only 4 pro fights. - A former UFC HW champion be knocked out COLD from a 90 year old ex-boxer Ray Mercer. - The GOAT being KO'd by a 40 year old middleweight. - The president of the premier organization speaks like a 24 year old street thug. - Someone can win a fight by laying on top of another, even if he sustained more damage. - A Sams Club tire changer destroys a past UFC HW champion and subsequently fights for a title. - A UFC champion will entertain fighting a professional boxer on his own turf. Upon beating him, he denies said boxer of a rematch on HIS turf. - Athletes from virtually every other sport find success in MMA when they can no longer cut it in their own sport. I can go on with this for DAYS.
:nono Guys like BJ Penn, GSP, Jon Jones, Anderson Silva, Shogun...etc... they are a little more than 'tough guys.'
Boxing is part of mma. MMA is closer to being an actual fight, so boxing isn't always the distinguishing factor. In mma, the ref can't save you if you can't break the clinch. In mma, the ref can't save you with a 10 count once you're dropped. In mma, you can get your ass kicked when you go to the ground. In boxing you can trade licks to the face if you want. I'd rather watch something featuring more skills.
