No, I've just watched and rewatched hundreds of hours of film. I fought as a kid in a SouthSide gym, and when I realized I couldn't beat the Mad Dog Malones or the David Dorns, I became a fan instead. But having the experience in the ring taught me what to look for when picking a fighter based on ability, styles, and ring generalship.

That said......Vitali <Lewis. He simply had an unlucky day.

The TKO by Lewis is more a testament to his Lewis ability to maintain his composure and not simply crumble under the pressure. He showed more heart in that fight than he did 6 months earlier with ATG Iron Mike, or in any of his wars, including his biggest wins.
Lewis is top 10 ATG, but so is Vitali.

I rember them all, grew up watching them. They, Holmes and Marvelous in particular were my inspiration to join Larry Herman at the S side Y, and later the Cleveland Estabrook boxing program, the USA Boxing Club, and Rocky's gym on W 25th.

Each of those guys LOST to sometimes superior fighters, and sometimes inferior fighters.....styles make fights. But comparing the 2 loss Klitschko is unfair to the 5 loss Ali, or the 6 loss Holmes or the 6 loss Tyson or the 14 loss Shavers, etc etc etc.

This is a sport where you win some and you lose some, and Lewis is no less an ATG for being KTFO by inferior fighters McCall or Rahamn or the superior fighter for TKOing the superior fighter Vitali Klitschko!:deal
