Let's take the best fighter Vitali has ever beat. Arreola. Is this dude remotely comparable to Riddick Bowe? Haye is arguably the best fighter Wladimir Klitscho has ever beaten. If not, then you can throw out any other name and still wouldn't be considered comparable or anywhere near as capable as a prime Riddick Bowe. For those reasons you should really drop this campaign.

Tough to say, the only guy either of them fought that's at or above the level of a Bowe is a past prime Lewis who Vitali lost to. I think they both beat him but it's tough to say.

I am a huge Holyfield fan and Bowe is 2-1 against him. Also, Bowe beat Dokes, Seldon, Hide, Pierre Cortzee. That's not bad for someone who fought for only 7-8 years. That boxing resume is up there with both Klits, seriously.

Bowe's resume might be up there with Vitali's resume. Vitali has been past his prime in many of those wins, though.

Wlad's resume is much deeper, clearly. He beats both Bowe and Vitali in resume.

The best fighter in Vitali's resume is probably Juan Carlos Gomez: decent heavyweight contender and also a Cruiserweight all time great (arguably Top3).

Then you have Arreola, Adamek, Sanders, etc.

The best fighters in Wlad's resume are Chris Byrd and David Haye. Byrd is probably the best of his era (apart from Lewis and the Klitschkos). Haye is a pretty good heavyweight and a cruiserweight all time great (Top5).

    Exactly, good post.

Bowe's resume could be compared to Vitali's. I still think Vitali's resume is slightly better. You also have to consider that half of Vitali's legacy has been built since 2008, while Vitali's past his best.

However, Wlad's resume is far superior than Bowe's. Bowe has Holyfield, Coetzer, Tucker, Seldon, Gonzalez, Hide. Wladimir Klitschko has McCline, Barrett, Williamson, Peter, Byrd, Ibragimov, Brock, Brewster, Thompson, Ibragimov, Chagaev, Chambers, Haye, etc.

I forgot about Tony Tubbs whom Bowe beat as well. Tubbs sparred for years against the both Klits especially V. Klit. There several sources say Tubbs always got the better of V. Klit in sparring and V. Klit even admit Tubbs was still very good. Also, Bowe was a silver medalist in the Olympics so he was no slouch either. I thought that fight against Lennox Lewis in the amateurs was stopped prematurely.

Exactly. Take Arreola, Adamek, it really doesn't matter. Vitali has had the luxury of competing in a painfully weak era, as has his brother, and therefore I don't see how one could confidently say Bowe would have been defeated by either of them.

If you watched the fights then you know Riddick Bowe was no longer the same fighter he had been. No relevance here at all.
