I'm not fluent in spanish or anything, but too me what he was really saying is that he wants a career high payday.

He's way too small and reckless and would get stopped brutally. But he is a Top Rank fighter so you never know what good ol uncle Bob might do.

If Manny Pacquiao can still make 140 why not? The odds are that Yurioriks Gamboa has been starving himself to make 126, and 140 might be a bit of a streach for him. However, Gamboa who will be at a size disadvantage. Is not that much smaller 5′ 5½″ and 65″ reach to Pacquiao's 5′ 6½″ and 67″ reach. That gives Pacquiao an advantage but not one that can't be overcome.
I hate the term natural weight, because it usually comes up as an excuse for a loss, and rhere is no such thing, However, I'm guessing that Gamboa would be very comfortable at 135 making 140 a reasonable weight.

i dont see this fight happening now. Gamboa will prob go to 130, win a belt or two w/out defending it, 135-which is a very tough weight class-and if all goes well then 140. That would take 1 1/2 years going fast. I mean its possible.

After Gamboa gets massacred people will jump on Pac saying he beat up a super bloated featherweight. Because he essentially did

Gamboa has got 3 weight classes to prove himself in before this fight can happen. Pac might be done by then.

Broner is the only name at 130 and he's with GB. At 135 I think Rios is way too big for Gamboa, it be a ligthweight version of Margarito-Cotto I. But at 140 he might be too short for Tim Bradely to headbutt. Be interesting to see if he is stronger at a higher weight.
