Not in the sense that they'll come knocking with a bottle for you to **** in whenever they want, no. But yea, fight roadblock and stall tactic I think.

Randomized testing is a great idea and random Urine is a step in the right direction until they can find a reliable way to blood test.

they do tests to the Olympic athletes during the games and they don't care about injuries. Are you making this up?

I could have the reasoning mixed up with the NSAC hearings on random blood testing but USADA DID stop about 18 days with the blood samples. I'm trying to find the source. i'll post it when I find it but if i'm not mistaken USADA put out a reason for not testing blood past that point.

They don't care about injuries in the olympics because they can afford to not care. Big $$$ highly publicized boxing match you don't want to risk getting bad rep for injuries.

I doubt they will test close to the fight. They can always say it's random, they will if they want to, they might they might not, press release bs. But we know they won't because it's too risky.

    Michael Koncz:
"ON ONE OF THE FIGHTS WE OFFERED 14 DAYS ................................................................................................."

Look how Koncz was talking in the PAST TENSE, if they were still insisting on a 14 day cut-off it wouldn't sound that way. It's common knowledge that Pac OK'd the 14 day until KFC move the goal post to no cut-off.

Even the reporter asked: WAS (past tense) it up to the day of the fight..................

I wish every athlete would be forced to take random blood tests at a high frequency.

There is no place for PED's in sports. None in boxing. I hope Victor Conte at the Berto/Zaveck fight really can get Donaire/Ward/etc. to submit to voluntarily random testing.

I'm all for cleaning up the sport and ish, making sure that no one's cheatin' (read: juicin' up), and I got no problem with this 'random testing' BUT... ... ... Why do I get the feeling that the only REAL reason why some people here are so adamant on pushing for OSDT is simply because they're just wishing & hoping that someone (one particular fighter) will test positive for PEDs? :blood

    Man....ehhh. :!:

I do suppose you know atleast a little about the Olympics, that are once every 4 years and watched closely by the entire world? The same Olympics that do not get postponed if an athlete, even one of the most famous top ones, gets an injury?

Are you saying there that there's no big $$$$ involved all around in the friggin' Olympics?? Are you saying the big $$$$ pro boxing match is gonna be more highly publicized than the Olympics? For real?? :!:

Now think of what you typed there, and imagine this scenario:

Micheal Phelps sittin' in the stands with his arm in a sling due to somebody injuring him during a test. You really think they worry more for their rep in a pro boxing match that could be easily postponed, than that happening?
