no he was pretty timid in this fight not a great performance overall if you watch the fight in full, his best performance's were against Berbick, Holmes and Spinks
Those were his blow-out performances. None of them ranked among his best technical work, in my opinion. Pinklon Thomas is another that rates among his most impressive overall showings. As a matter of fact, from a skills stand-point, the Mitch Green fight is up there, young as he was, and despite the fact that he didn't stop him. The head movement was unreal, and the in-fighting was excellent as well.
Yeah but he used superb technic to blow them out, Mitch Green wasn't a good performance from what I remember last time I watched it, if your talking about best performance over the full distance, then Tony Tucker was the best.
He perhaps wasn't quite as patient against Green, but he really showed off some unbelievable skills, I thought. The Tucker fight I haven't seen in a while, but I do remember it being a very solid performance.
gawd he was a freak, compact like a pitbull , amazing speed and fluidity, he was as fast as a lightweight- and with amazing torque and power. The fact that he was a tiny heavyweight- height wise made him even more awesome and intimidating in a way- just an awesome fighting specimen.

Not quite his very best, as his defense was a little sloppy. (though only by Mike Tyson standards) - but holy cow, did Jose Ribalta have a chin !
