Gutted I won't get to see Matthyse pick up a well deserved title, I reckon Golden Boy paid him step aside money so they could gift Morales a 4th title. Everything that's wrong with boxing right there

I agree with LP that's rather stupid. I mean Ortiz is in this fight it's not Just Mayweather on his own on Saturday night. Even if it's just the Berto fight..

Realistically they want to be showing Mayweather vs Corrales, Gatti and Hatton - not the stinker with DLH, and the others.

Plus, a bit of Ortiz action would be nice, probably the Berto fight would be best.

Some people need to remember that there's two people that make a fight, not just one.

doesn't look like it, thats the biggest mistake of all.

all the casual fans have seen floyd vs hatton/delahoya/mosley, what they haven't seen is ortiz vs berto and that alone would help sell the fight more than all the mayweather fights.

the problem with primtime is all the promo they are getting from america is for free, golden boy are giving them the fights and all the shows. if they wants ortiz vs berto they would have to buy it off HBO/Dibella promotions and it looks like they don't want to spend any money on that, even though it would be cheap because the fight is months old.

The exciting Mayweather fights were all under Top Rank, I guess... and that will cost extra to broadcast. But the lack of Ortiz is baffling. Ok, he's as limited and one-dimensional as they come, but he is entertaining.

Also his fights have KD's etc which would make the less hardcore fans love the thought of this fight. We know Ortiz's limitations but the casual's will see a different fight and believe he's a threat to Mayweather which would surely boost sales.
