If there's a person on the planet who thinks Jones Jr. getting into the Octagon with Silva would've resulted in anything less than a brutal knockout, they're an idiot. Also, if Silva had gotten into the Boxing Ring, he would of probably lost too if Jones' chin held up. Why? Because it's not his sport.

And yes, please keep going, because those are ridiculous images. Brock has got shaky whiskers but took big bombs from Carwin in that fight to come back in round 2 and choke him out. Dana White has stated that Hallman episode was one of the most embarassing things in MMA and I'm inclined to agree, and GSP is choking someone out from what it looks like.

This sad little stubborn debate of which is better; Boxing or MMA needs to end. Why would they box? That's not a real fight. It's not even close. In a real fight, Lesnar and Silva **** all over every heavyweight ever.

 

So what is closer to "real", boxing or mma? And that video is irrelevant to the conversation, no boxer is skilled enough grappling wise, to keep Lindland standing up that long. By the time some ****** boxer tried that ****, he would have already been dropped directly on his head, and either unconscious or possibly dead. Kind of hard to live after getting your neck snapped.
