So what he once was? that guy who was destroyedin two rounds against McCall or what? He did not beat in his whole career guy near as Good and dangerous Vitali Klitschko was.

Doesn't mean that Lewis hadn't deteriorated though?

These cuts were open in the begging of 3rd. Lewis was fighting an injured man for 4 rounds and still could not get up on the cards.

Vitali does not seem to upset about it anymore. Maybe some of you guys should just get over it.

Lennox retired because he didn't want to fight any more. He had nothing to prove no matter what some clowns might say, this is an era where million dollar fights aren't being made and the fighters are ducking each other like the plague (even in their primes) and yet you **** on a fighter who fought everyone because he had enough and wanted to retire with his health intact?

the fight was only half way through, vitali started strong but lewis had come back into the fight. both fighters were hurting each other and it was gripping stuff. i do not see how people can be so sure how it would have ended.

one thing is certain, lewis stopped vitali by digging deep and showing the heart of a champion.

perfect final fight, beating the guy that would be the best HW in the world for the next 10 years.

and how can anyone say lewis ducked vitali, he never ducked anyone. lewis was the most avoided HW ever. everyone gets to fight a Klit Bros cause all roads lead to them but in lewis' time there was so many goo heavyweights that they could fight around him and he was avoided for years.

lewis retired (not fake retired) and that is not ducking.

Yeah ,i remember lewis giving advice to Jameel Mcline and later to sanders on how to defeat Vlad. My question is why not fight vlad himself, there was interest in that fight at the time. Lewis chose to fight the supposedly weaker brother and the rest is history.

Lewis took the fight on 2 weeks notice....was losing the fight and i believe the stoppage saved Klitscko from getting knocked out.

BOTH were gassed and Lewis was coming on strong, did that uppercut in the 6th look like the actions of someone who needed "saved"?

Just about every photo, every interview Lewis has that big beaming smile, I'm sure he sleeps just fine.
