    Sorry if old news, but front page says wlad likely to face mormeck. Absolute disgrace if made. I'd rather see holyfield get a shot. At least there'd be scant nostalgic value. Shouldn't mormeck be rematching fres oquendo or timur for the pabst blue ribbon continental americas crown? Wlad should have more respect for his fans and not take this fight

    hate haye, but mormeck might be worse - at least audley has a hw punch. even if equal, is haye really the standard a real champ should be measuring himself by

    I actually think it's a regular choice of opponent.

    Apart from Helenius, who else could Wlad fight? Povetkin is fighting Holyfield and has ducked Wlad more than once. Wlad could fight Dimitrenko, Arreola, Tua. But does it really make a difference between Dimitrenko and Mormeck? Both have no chance.

    The OG JMM would eventually figure Wlad out and use his size to his advantage by being mobile and countering him, but would probably lose due to getting up from 23 knockdowns.

    Dimitrenko is a joke, but at least he's of equal size. Wlad would definitely look better knocking out the huge Dimitrenko than a CW who has already been KO'd twice by two other CWs. And Arreola always makes for an entertaining fight.

    if that were true (AD equals JMM and there's no one else), then he should just wait then take an utterly pointless fight. he doesn't need more money. there is absolutely no legacy value (possibly negative legacy value). better off resting up for at least some type of challenge. hell, he'd better off scanning tape on up and coming guys or journeymen and pull an Apollo Creed and give some unknown a shot. At any rate, I'll take AD over JMM any day. if we can't get helenius, throw in boystov or even fury or even ****ing delboy (at least he's not 40 and a cw off of 2 lackluster wins).....there's gotta be somebody

    Mormeck brings money from the French fans. Fighting a CW who has no chance against you for a better than average payday makes perfect sense.
