Don't know much about Wlodarczyk - be interested to read people's thoughts on this one! I voted anyway - Green by KO against a guy who hasn't fought too many big names imo.

Wlodarczyk is current champ... but, and this is a big but.... he did look shitty in his last fight, should of lost the decision to Palacios. And, a big and... he was in a coma a month ago due to some depression pills he was taking due to family issues.... Interesting fight, I hope Wlod can pull it off in Australia but it sure is going to be tough. Green is coming off a beatdown from Tarver so it'll be interesting to see how he handles this too..

Hasn't fought big names???? He is 1-1 against Steve Cunningham. He has wins over popular italian fighter Giacobbe Fragomeni. Very Powerful Guy.

Decent fight, crazy that Green is beaten down in his last fight to lose title shot and gets to fight for another belt right away

**any news on Tarvers next move?

Green gets a title shot for being crushed by 42yo Tarver who had never fought at CW before. Way to go, WBC.

EDIT: I should check my facts before posting. Tarver actually has had some fights at 200 it's just quite while ago. 10 years to be precise.

    That's a tough one actually.

Tarver humiliated Green but still Green is a strong tough guy with some skills, his shots are heavy and he throws them like he means it. I don't know if Wlodarczyk fought anyone that aggressive, Green could really get to him.

On the other hand Wlodarczyk looks terrible but has never been in danger of getting KOed. Could be interesting.

Very difficult fight to predict... I'm going for Green on home advantage.

I wonder if this fight will help Green's reputation? Not for how good a fighter he is, but for the fights he takes?

yup. he also tried to commit suicide less than 2 months ago. Even at his best thou Wlodarczyk's biggest probalem is his unwillingness to throw punches, he has such a low workrate. He's a skilled fighter but never throws enough, i wouldn't be suprised tosee Green with this.

Palacios should have got a rematch though no doubt.
