Floyd picked his fave judges, not just Joe Cortez, Ortiz has little chance

FLoyd, not only has Cortez in his pocket, but the judges too.

E.g., Judge Roth previously scored for Floyd 115-111 in the first fight against Castillo in 2002. Many here had Castillo winning the first FMJ fight by a couple of rds. I did.

So given Cortez and the judges are likely in Floyd's pocket, only chance Ortiz has may be a quick KO. As soon as he shows good agression, Cortez will come down on him, but allow FLoyd's elbows, etc.

And the judges will give the fight to FLoyd as long as he is still standing.
Sad state of boxing--nothing ever changes.

"It doesn't matter who the ref/judges are, Floyd will ruin this kid" at least 20 times in this thread.

    interesting fact

other Mayweather fights Roth has judged:

    May-DLH 115-113 for Floyd
    May-Judah 117-111 for Floyd
    May-JLC 115-111 for Floyd
    May-Corrales 90-78 for Floyd
    Floyd's pro debut

Roth is indeed a corrupt judge. Check out his scorecard for some other robberies.

    Alexander-Kotelnik 116-112 for Alex
    Morales-Maidana 116-112 for Maidana

Next one isn't a robbery but look into it anyways

Juan-pacquiao 112-115 for Juan, I have no problem with Juan winning but this score is pretty wide.

Looks like anyone can buy out Roth whether it be Oscar (Morales-Maidana), Don K (Alexander-Kotelnik), or Arum (May-JLC).

    Yeah, u r right.
They won't consider that if FLoyd were confidant he wouldn't be so obvious about trying to do a Hatton redux. Or a Castillo I redux.
He would have accepted someone who really is fair, not someone who says he is, and then proves the opposite.

    Good find!
SOme of those scores are outrageous.

People need to see the consistency of a corrupt judge.

So it's not just the refs whose actions are easily seen. The judging can be even more foul and somewhat hidden.

I guess Ortiz had to accept this ****.

I had given Ortiz 40-50% chance of winning until the announcement. Now 10-20%. Only chance I think is a quick KO.

to be fair Ortiz doesn't look like someone who would catch onto this kind of detail. He's too busy not really caring bro.

Imma always AZZk myself how likely can the smaller draw KO his opponent if I ever see Roth's name as a judge.
