    Ive been debating with a certain poster on ESB, not mentioning any names.

    But he believes im wrong to totally dismiss Bruce Seldon beating Tyson.

    IMO Seldon was and is garbage and that showed in 1996.

    However my fellow ES'er, believes that a motivated Seldon could put an ass whooping on Tyson like Douglas did.

    Your thoughts on whether this is even physically possible?

    :lol: I don't think Seldon's garbage but he isn't getting out the first against Tyson ever. And Douglas always gives Tyson problems

    No,Tyson was completely shot and had to sweat off 50 pounds in three weeks before the Douglas fight,and anyone with a pulse would have beaten him.


    Seldon knocks him out after completely dominating him like Douglas did.

    Seldon certainly wasn't garbage. But, I'd pretty much dismiss him in that match-up too.

    Besides, Zombie Tyson's meniscus cartilage tissue tore severely in one of his knees in round 2.

    I pick Mcbride Tyson over Seldon, everyday of the week.

    How anybody can pick Seldon is beyond me.

    I wont mention the person who said that, but im sure hell be on this thread sooner or later :good

    Williams was a hot prospect with mental issues and wasn't dedicated. A big talent in his youth though. And Seldon wasn't that hard to hit, Tyson/Bowe had done it already

    I believe the old adage applies here: "if douglas could do it, so could anyone else"

    I'd say it's certainly possible, braddock beat baer, rahman beat lewis, daniels beat schmelling etc.

    I wouldn't completely dismiss anyone ever and certainly not against a man who got twatted by buster.
