"Hatton was one of the toughest oppoents I faced" Floyd Mayweather post Hatton fight. So either Floyd is a liar or he disagrees with you.

    "DLH was an easy fight"

    See what I mean?

Tough meaning he had to exert himself physically and work hard because of all the infighting. Not because of the level of difficulty, read between the lines.:deal

True. bball is a class act. If Floyd whoops Ortiz will be most gangsta thing in Boxing 2010,2011. Yeah I have been out of the ring 16 months let me come back and school the young WW champ as a tuneup.

He therefore made Mayweather look uncomfortable even though he was winning rounds.[/quote]

thats how i feel.... even though may was winning it was a close fight and Hatton made pbf uncomfortable. one of pbf few meaningful wins of recent memory

Hatton did well in the early rounds but by no means was he winning that fight before he got stopped. Floyd should have been penalized for repeatedly sticking his elbow in Hatton's face. If I was Ortiz's corner, I would talk to the ref about that before the fight on Saturday.

All I know is what I saw after the deduction, which was Hatton fighting more desperately, not moving his head as much, and coming in, in straight lines, and that is why he got knocked out by that check left hook.

I've said he got tired around the 6

Agreed but Ray came back and fought Legends in their prime and did so moving up in weight.

Floyd on the other hand may take the same time of but does not fight the same level.

The only comparison we could make today would be Floyd fighting Martinez at 160.

That would make him modern day SRL which he clearly isnt.

5 rounds? Dude you're insane. Watch that fight more closely. Hatton was landing NOTHING of significance. The only reason it appeared close was the way Mayweather was fighting him. He was luring him in and allowing him to swarm him, however blocking and rolling off every single shot. Mayweather won every single round. Hatton did nothing to him. :deal
