If this is true(and thats a big IF) then thats a sad state of affairs, Im neutral, but Im well shocked at Clevs dad getting intimidated. People will talk about 'mind games' but I deal in reality, & the reality is that Bellew & his crew had Clevs crew phoning the police cos they were scared for their own safety:-( **** sake its boxing, what are the scousers playing at here? Bellew is a great poster & I think hes got a chance of an upset, but all this is just WRONG. Dont even get me started on Couch, acting like shes tough too, arselicking the Bellew crew & mocking Nathan for phoning the police to protect their own safety. I dont blame Nathans dad for wanting to pull out of the fight, after all Cleverly has a world title, & he deserves to be treated better than this. Im nearly 40 now, & this is one of the most shameful things I have ever witnessed in boxing.

All this talk of them being gangsters and loads of Bellew fans being let in is absolutely stupid. Spoke to a Cleverly fan on another forum who was at the press conference and he said there were loads of Cleverly fans their Bellew turned up with three people himself 2 trainers and a sponser. The reason why it kicked off was there had been previous at the London press conference between the sponser and Vince Cleverly which boiled up again.
I don't think he is to be fair..... it's pretty shameful that people can't behave like mature adults for half an hour. I'm sure that those kind of episodes might sell more PPVs in the States but most people with half a braincell would just think ''what a pair of ****ing clowns, it's so fake.....''. For the life of me I can't understand why boxers need ''teams'' anyway, no wonder so many of them fall on hard times because they've spent their entire career paying for loads of flunkies to call them ''champ'' every two minutes. Just take your trainer ffs.
i dont think the scousers are to blame, clevs dad is the one who flipped out and if he cant handle someone eyeballing him he is one insecure old man, also calling that one of the most shameful things you ever witnessed in boxing is a bit too much it didnt even get to the handbags stage and had clevs dad had more cop on none of this would be getting discussed right now

The way Bellew has been going on ("I grew up in a rough place; I've had a hard life, blah blah blah") you would think he grew up in the Bronx.
The Clev Bellew rivalry goes back at least two years. Tony has been calling him out for the long saying he can beat him etc.
Being from Liverpool myself, I hear rumours some of Bellew's family and mates are not the sort of people you mess with. Real big time charlies with lots of connections. I will not say any more on that.
