I think we got a winner:

Stipe Drews won his LHW title from the Italian trial horse Silvio Branco and lost his belt in his next fight to Danny Green in one of the most disgraceful performances ever.

Rene Jacquot lost his title to Mugabie due to twisting his ankle. Jacquot beat Donald Curry for title. Which is pretty shocking. Mugabi in turn loses his title to Terry Norris. I miss those days.

ive heard rumors Piper has throat cancer...or some kind of cancer...so if there is smoke....theres fire somewhere....

tucker did fight alot of garbage in those first 35 fights...but Douglas wasnt no bum like people who think because they were born after that fight even happened...James Broad was a top 10 guy as well.... after Tyson , wins over Oliver McCall and Orlin Norris...thats about it....Tucker was a huge guy in size back then and had major talent and ability...but his being under the don king blanket didnt do him any favors

now are we basing this thread on
    1) WORST champion because of skills?

    2) WORST champion because of only fighting crap, never trying to unify, never being in a mega fight while nursing a belt and not being known outside your country?

Then my vote goes for Sturm

No problem my friend. Steve Collins vs. Mike McCallum on ABC Wide World of Sports back in the day. You can't go wrong with stuff like that.

There's far, far worse. At least Haye got in the ring with the best in the division, an ATG, to unify, there's plenty who wouldn't or won't sadly.
