Venus, what's your goal for this PPV, numbers wise? I'd absolutely love for you lot to adopt a 'two tier' PPV system. American Cards for a fiver, British cards for 10/15 quid. Would intise the general public a lot more.

Would you still be going round your friends house at 2 AM if this was only a fiver BB?

This card looks like it will do very similar numbers to a Khan fight....

We do vary our prices depending on the event but we do not have the final decision on pricing, pricing is decided by the rights holders - we can advise them on what will work best but at the end of the day they choose the price they believe their product is worth

Fair enough, I didn't no that :good

Tbh i doubt this does the same as Khan, unless Amir's numbers were shockingly low. I dont think droves of people will pay for a US card that doesnt have a British boxer in a decent fight

So there quite happy trying to rip people off then? The small, slim, 1% chance I would buy this PPV is now gone, I wouldn't buy this even if I was pissed out my head which is quite possible on a saturday

The funny thing is ive bought every fight from these *******s, as you all know. That includes those shocking Klitschko PPV fights and a range of other ****.

Even im not paying for this. Luckily i got a friend who now works for me, who can get all the fights free on a dodgy box, so i pick & choose what i pay for now.

The fact that Morales is now fighting a gimme is a shame, as when he wins they will doubtless trumpet the fact that he technically holds the Mexican four weight record, which is a shame as most of us won't feel it counts. But to have Mayweather and Alvarex on there, they are two of the biggest names going. And Ortiz is about as solid an opponent for Mayweather as there is out there, Pacquiao aside of course, because at least he can bang a bit and might change things up a little. Berto would have been a foregone conclusion in with Mayweather, whereas with Ortiz at least he just might have a flash of inspiration and catch a rusty Mayweather with a big one? Like a faded Mosely managed to? Or am I dreaming, there? And Alvarez putting on a show is a great support fight from the Staples, even if he is on for a comfortable win it is not the main event.

Anyway, I paid £15 to watch Audley throw one jab at Haye, so this still feels like a cracking deal to me. Sky have done Primetime a massive favour by setting the ppv bar so low!

I think that this is a good card (Morales aside) - and in the US it is more than twice the price.

    See you Saturday night fellas.
There will be a lot of 'online' content, trust me.
I'm going to be posing a few questions closer to the first bells.

    Adios.

I agree. With the American card having a C5 British card to start the evening.

I could go up to £7.49 for an American fight but when it nears 10 quid it becomes difficult. Especially now I feel old and can't wait until the early hours so will watch it the next day!
