    Interesting.

Green has found the easiest possible path to a legitimate world title. Go figure.

If Green performs to the same standard as against Tarver, and Wlod performs to the same standard as against Palacios - this could be one horribly boring 50-50 contest, with "controversy" no matter what happens (as it's like going to the cards, and either the Aussies or Poles will be outraged).

I actually think it will be close but Wlod is powerful but has a slow workrate sometimes. I think in Round 10 or so he gets a KO.

    :good

Except for bogans and bitter Wizard fans, there's no reason for anybody to not back Diablo as the sentimental choice to root for in this one.

Especially if you have a deep seated and bizarre loathing of Green.

Diablo's recent performances and issues to me offer Green a better shot than I would normally. Good matchup though, looking forward to. Still hoping to see some unification matches tween Diablo/Green winner vs. Cunningham vs. Huck vs. Tarver....somebody make em fight!

Agreed. Was just going to post that.

Can't stand watching Wlodarczyk fight because he is so gun-shy that it is ridiculous. I sit there and swing for him in front of the TV everytime I see a chance where he should punch. He needs to open up more often and frequently.

Masternak has been chasing Wlod around for his title for a while now.

I think Master's recent performance scared Wlod off.

My impression is this fight is a cash-out fight for Wlod; a pay-day against the highest bidder (eg Wlod stated Green was offering more than Huck and Lebedev). For this reason and the home field advantage I lean towards Green.

On the other hand if Wlod could win that would set up a much bigger fight and pay-day, so he has plenty of motivation. Plus this is a more winnable fight for Wlod then Huck or Wlod, so maybe it's not just about money, but smart-matchmaking.

Tough fight to call--Green will have to be at his best.

What because he fought a 42 year old light heavyweight with a big name that looked **** in his previous fight and now because he got schooled and stopped by that 42 year old hes taking a shot at a real title he doesnt deserve against a fighter that was in a coma and got a gift decision in his last fight because he has no other options really and he's probably just cashing out now because he knows that he's not that good.

Yes tons of respect to him for that.

Interesting. You highlight the health of his opponent when you think it will make Green look bad, but neglect to mention Green's own health issues before the Tarver fight.

That's not a rational way to argue.

Kinda like the people suggesting that there would be a dodgy decision if the fight was in Australia. Since when has that occurred?

    Delusional.

Hate makes you stupid. I don't think I have seen any group quite as stupid as the Green haters - willing to buy into any conspiracy theory, torture any logic to justify their position.

Whatever, it is your problem, not mine. If hate gives you more satisfaction than clear thinking, then I just pity you.

the hate for green is ridiculously unjustified imo, hes a guy who has done so much better for himself than his ability suggested he should, through being a shrewd businessman and exciting fighter.

When was the last time Wlod actually outpunched and outlanded his opponent in most of the fight?

I happened to watch the Palacios fight, and I remember he took the mic at the end for a speech as if he wanted to apologize or something. But hey, the crowd gave him a good cheer after that, maybe he thought he was gonna be interviewed post-fight like in the Rocky movies...
