But still Floyd never fought them. If they were so easy to beat why didn't he fight them? They were bigger names than Ortiz is now and those wins would have given him much more credit since he would have fought guys who were proven. Sure they lost to each other after Floyd would not fight them. Those guys fought the best and someone had to lose, but Floyd is not in those round robin of fights. You really think Ortiz is as good as Margarito was at welt. or Cotto? Or Williams? This is not about hate. I like Floyd but I wish he would fight the top guys if he is going to act like he is the best fighter in the world. Manny can say he is and he backed it up. Floyd has to fight Manny someday or his career will always be a what if and how good really was Floyd.
If Berto looked good winning I am not sure Floyd would have picked him. I think Floyd has the skills to beat Berto or anyone, but he does not fight the top guys. I really think he would probably beat Manny if he fought him. But he keeps playing games saying he will. At this point I really don't want to see it anymore since Floyd is just waiting for Manny to get old and washed up so he fights him and beats him and says he beat Manny. Leonard is a great fighter, but the one thing which I think was a little unfair was when he retired, he would come back and he started to play games and wait for Marvin to get old and then fight Lalonde and Hearns at weights to weaken them.
I am saying if Berto looked good Floyd would not have picked him. Floyd handpicks guys who are ok but who he can beat.
I didn't think he looked that great. That fight made him look like he had power, but then Mosley was inactive for over a year I remember.
