On what he will do for Roger Mayweather after the Ortiz fight: "I'm going to get him together. I'm going to take him to the dentist and get his teeth fixed. He's not as sharp as he used to be, but my better half, Ms. Jackson? She told me the other day that 'Your uncle may not know about a lot of stuff, but he will never forget that boxing." Floyd Mayweather Jr. on fighting until the age of 40: "Can I fight fight until I'm 40? Absolutely. I can. Will I? I don't think so. But I've got some fights left." On the most he's ever weighed between fights: "Probably about 152. Probably 152 with close on. Probably 150." Taking a shot at Golden Boy Promotions' President Oscar De La Hoya: "You can't shoot shots at somebody and don't expect to get shots fired back...Me and Oscar De La Hoya may not see eye-to-eye. But me and [Golden Boy Promotions CEO] This content is protected do good business. Great business I should say." On Mike Tyson's losing $300,00 million and whether that can happen to him: "He did it his way. The thing is this with This content is protected , he done it his way. He lived life to the fullest. He lived life the way he wanted to live it. My job ain't to judge how much money you make, or how much money you make. It's a thing that's within the world that we always talk about. I never count the next man's money or worry about what he does with his money or how he lives. Each man lives how he wants to live. "Some people want to live a relaxed live. Me, myself, I'm just animated. I'm animated, I'm happy, and I'm full of energy. You only have one time in your life. So me, I only have one time, I'm going to have fun...I want to still be energized and still happy. That's how I want to live my life.Money don't make me. I make money, but it don't make me. Money don't define who I am as a person."
Says floyd MONEY mayweather who created MONEY entertainment and who is currently the head of TEAM MONEY atsch
It doesnt define him as a person yet he made it his nickname and its his main subject in a lot of interviews. Also how can you expect to take shots and not get them back? Floyd himself is taking shots at everyone in boxing all the time but when someone does it to him he is insulted and thinks it isnt righ to do, someone give that man a mirror.
Floyd "Money" Mayweather is a character. Some pople have already understood that some haven't yet ...
floyd getting his uncle's teeth fixed would make up for all the BS that he said recently for the past few weeks.
to be honest if that were true, there is an extremely fine line between the two. tbh, that's what his fans want everyone to believe, but i think the truth is he is both. he sways, one word or question can trigger him to go the other way. even when he's not promoting for a fight, you can hear some ugly **** from his mouth, when i would have thought the character is only to sell fights
This is pretty much spot on. It's not as simple as 'oh, it's a character' or 'it's real!'. It's both at the same time.
Why do you care which is the true floyd, will you ever know him personally?, all you can do is shut the **** up and either watch his fights or don't.
I think that as long as he's in the business, he'll show more of his dickhead side, no matter if he's promoting a fight or not. But as soon as he retires, he will show maybe his true personnality, at least that's what I believe. :good Time will tell anyway, personaly speaking, his current personality doesn't bother me at all and as I've said it before, a boxer who talks a lot isn't specialy annoying as far as he backs it up in the ring. I think you can't say Floyd doesn't back it up ... Thanks mate :yep Damn, Floyd a G man ! I'm gonna modify it a little bit, though !
Some of you people really need a life. The man puts "Money" in his nickname. Big ****ing deal. I think the disconnect here has to be cultural. People really get bent out of shape when Floyd talks his ****. It's just ****-talking, and I really don't think he pays any attention to what he says sometimes. It's his detractors that hang onto every word he says as if he means them literally. Funny part, of all the different things this interview talks about, someone has to mention the ost insignificant thing of them all. - His nickname. Maybe some of you should read what I think is a very serious interview from him. He talks about not counting another man's money, and living his life to the fullest, because you only get one time to live.
