No genuine fight fan can say they wouldnt watch Khan v Mayweather if it was on Primetime. As an event it would transcend tv channels.
I can't see why anyone would happily pay for a ppv on Sky but not
Primetime, as long as they are upgrading to HD!
I enjoy the way Primetime present shows, I don't mind ppv- we pay subscription to other channels, if anything we should be complaining to sky for not buying this!

Does 'Gary Barlow' have a hidden agenda?

So true.... Steve probably loves Haye more than he loves his wife and kids.

I just don't get all the hate on here. It only seems to happen with Primetime.
That whole thing about 'it would be free on Sky' just doesn't sit well with me. If Sky wanted it they could've bought it. It's common knowledge Primetime wouldn't even exist if Sky had been interested in Carl Froch before the Super 6 reached the semi finals.
I just don't get why 'genuine' boxing fans positively salivate over paying 50 pounds a month to sky and an added 15/20 pounds for Haye fights but complain bitterly about paying 15pounds to Primetime to see cards like this.

It seems to me that GBP decided they wanted to try PPV rather than Sky didn't bid enough.

FWIW I agree with Insider. If I was at all "bovvered" about this malarky I'd have just as many issues with what Sky were doing as I had with Primetime.

I'm not watching the fight live. Too busy on Sunday to be able to stay up until after 6am. When I get round to watching it will be with HBO's commentary though, yes.
