    2 judges with bad records in fact. Adelaide Byrd gave rds to Holyfield in which Lewis hit him 4X as much.

    Ccortez we already know too well.

    Was Ortiz forced to accept this bull**** to get the fight?

    If so, he must have felt that he could KO Floyd quickly. But as soon as he shows effective aggression, Cortez will find some excuse to shut him down, unless it happens in 30 seconds.

    Indeed Ortiz might alter his game plan from the getgo, and that might prove disastrous.

    One thing going for Ortiz is that FLoyd at this stage and weight probably doesn't throw as hard as Berto. And probably no longer as fast either.

    Nothing he did that I saw on 24/7 impressed me.

    Only thing that did, was his power to pick the ref and judges.

    Sad, very sad.

    Cortez might actually help Ortiz in this fight...Garcia has already made it known that he is aware that Floyd likes to use his elbows..I'm sure he will say something to Cortez about it before the fight, and Joe is a strict guy...

    I see ths as a + for Ortiz...

    I'd be more concerned about Ortiz's Glass Jaw and Glass Heart. Plus his poor defence.

    Yes Roth and that other judge arent good at all but how does that not help Ortiz?? Those judges are so bad that might give Ortiz rounds just cause he was putting pressure on mayweather. It could be a blssing Bro, you might be seeing it the wrong way

    You peeps must be very young or such. History repeats. Doesn't matter that Cortez and those judges are known to be corrupt.
    It will happen again, unless Ortiz does it quickly. And even trying for that may **** him up.

    This again are you serious i bet Hatton fans are starting these threads , Victors brother should be the referee and it would not change a thing wide ud Floyd ortiz wont win more than 2 rounds!

    I don't see Cortez as being biased or corrupt towards Mayweather or anyone else, I just see him as being an incompetent, **** referee, so his involvement could hurt Mayweather as much as it could help him, it depends whatever nonsensical decisions Cortez feels like making on the night.
