    George was laughin...

Didn't you read Nick's statement? It's obvious that Dana White was terrified that his star was going to get the **** beat outta him, so he cancelled the fight.

    It's bull****...

Dana has his favorites, and the last thing he wanted was a REAL FIGHTER
to win, and not some GAY WRESTLER.

Yeah because he saw how Nick Diaz completely Brutalized his 1st Ultimate Fighter winner, Sanchez! That Diaz kid is A BEAST, he should keep him away from St. Pierre and Anderson!

Still, doesn't excuse Nicks actions. Even if Dana White and Georges St-Pierre didn't want the fight, it's still Nicks fault because he gave them an out. Also of interest is that Dana tried contacting Nick several times before deciding to cancel. This right here puts the whole [Dana didn't want this fight because] argument to question.

In the end this is a business. If Dana allows a guy like Nick Diaz to pull antics like this, then it sets a bad example for the rest of the organization.

What I really don't understand is...Diaz has been begging and crying about getting paid more and reaching superstar level like Pacquiao or Mayweather yet Diaz doesn't take press conferences seriously. In order to reach this type of status your name has to grow in value and an essential part of that process is whoring up media attention! Take a look at what Mayweather did during his press conference stint with De La Hoya. FMJ took advantage of the cameras and maximized his villain role. It worked for him beautifully. His act played a huge part in the historic Floyd-Oscar PPV revenue. I've always thought of Diaz is a dull person but his recent actions or lack thereof put him on a whole new level of idiocy.

good point. These guys... Pac, Mayweather, even GSP... they go out of their ****ing way to promote their fights. Pac comes all the way from the Philippines to do a press tour in the USA and Mexico and then goes back to the Philippines. Mayweather goes all the way to the UK to promote his fights. GSP goes to the USA and anywhere else he needs to be.

****ing Diaz can't be assed to go from San Francisco to Las Vegas. What a champion :patsch

Even Juan Manuel Marquez spent several days in the Philippines.

You want big paydays, act like a champ!

Diaz should have turned up but white is the biggest POS in MMA history, no need to deny us fans the 2 best WWs in the world going h2h.

On the ONLY bright side, Diaz v Penn is 1 of my dream fights & both are 2 of my 4 fav fighters (Big Nog & Shogun being the other 2)... Ive long said I think Diaz beats BJ in a 5 rd fight, its a coin toss in a 3 rder tho.... I hope that fat ***** dana has made this a 5 rder but I seriously doubt it because, well, he`s a *****.

Diaz is a stoner ******, who luckily bitched out as he realised that GSP would man-handle him with ease.

Diaz is the only one to blame in this whole thing. If Dana didn't want GSP to fight Nick why would he make the fight in the first place? You Diaz apologists are some of the stupidest people I have ever seen in my life. Get over it your ******ed hero ****ed up and can't be a man and take responsibility for his own actions, that is a sign of immaturity. A real man will always accept responsibility.

What's Dana got against Diaz in your opinion? Is Dana possibly afraid that Diaz may beat GSP or is that he just doesn't want to give him the opportunity?

Who wins between GSP and Diaz, why?

Also, is there a fundamental way to approach a grapple? I mean, I'm not naive enough to think that there is no technique, but in boxing for instance, I know what works and what doesn't work, but for the most part, at least in my opinion, you should keep a strong fundamental base that in most cases dictates the sport; but is this the same in grab fighting?
