There is also a possibility that Dawson utterly dominates Hopkins.

Chad is gonna get a severe beating. Without Steward being there it will be even more severe.

There is next to no chance of that happening.

Hopkins is not unbeatable, he's 46 years old, he has his limits. It doesn't matter what Hopkins does, he's not going to stop Chad.

Chad seems like a guy who just does what he does, I wouldn't be surprised if he gave the performance of his life.

What concerns me isn't that he left Steward, but the timing of the change and the reason for it — wanting to be close to family — suggest he's not taking this as seriously as he ought to be.

This is a guy who has had all kinds of problems locally with bad business deals and the like, and now he's refusing to leave the region to train for the biggest fight of his career?

I don't even like Steward that much as a trainer for Dawson, but this smells fishy. Dawson ought to win due to his physical gifts, but every mental edge goes to Hopkins.

Not expecting fireworks, but it will be interested to see how Chad responds.

He's working with Winky Wright and John Scully, not a bad alternative.

Dawson has been training with John Scully for at least a month. Dawson has never trained with Steward in preparation for Hopkins, so who knows how long Scully has been training Dawson. But it's reported that it's been at least a month.

Why should Dawson train with Steward, when Steward is training two or three other boxers? Dawson needs a trainer who help him focus for the fight, not a trainer preparing for other boxers. To say Dawson isn't working hard or taking this fight seriously isn't true.

Chad didnt look good at all in his last fight , so im worried for him . He needs to bring his A game this time around and let his hands go . If the Dawson that whooped Tarver in their first fight shows up . Bernard gon be in big trouble
