Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer predicted an "astronomically high four million sales" for Saturday's Floyd Mayweather Jr.-Shane Mosley fight on HBO PPV, which would "surpass the current record of 2.45 million, set in 2007 by Mayweather and Oscar De La Hoya by nearly" 40%, according to Kevin Iole of YAHOO SPORTS. Schaefer: "I say that we're going to break records. Not to only break three million homes, my goal is to break four million homes. When you have corporate America behind you, when you have HBO 24/7, it is possible." Iole wrote the fight is "almost a cinch to sell in excess of one million units."

"Let's say the pattern shows that every day we're 20 percent above Mosley, or we're 30 percent or 40 percent above Marquez," Schaefer said. "Then, that gives us an indication that the numbers should be somewhere in the 1.7 or 1.8 million range."

The numbers are not actual, but an estimate or prediction.:patsch
Its either the one who started this thread is a IDIOT who doesn't know to read or a desperate moron who is trying to mislead everyone here.

Arum's reported PPV numbers = off by 50-100k PPV buys
Schaeffer's prefight PPV predictions = off by ****ing 2 Million PPV buys

Based on Schaeffer's previous predictions, I would say this will have the same PPV buys as Mayweather-Marquez.

Victor is a straight up G. Gonna be a lopsided shocking beatdown by King Ortiz.
U wanna back an inactive fighter vs a young strong southpaw who gonna weigh 160 ?
Ortiz already won the pre fight war.
Wish buzz was better so more could witnesseth.
