Why is the JMM thing personal with Pac?

i know marquez has gotta be pissed about being edged out of a close decision twice

he went to the Philippines with t shirts saying that he beat pac twice, pac is very proud and i bet this pissed him off

JMM whined and whined about the decisions after both fights, not giving Pac any credit or respect for his performance.

There was the confrontation in the Phillipines where Marquez publicly challenged Pac in front of his fans, and that lame T-shirt stunt where he claimed he beat Pac twice. He also publicly degraded Pac's opponents since moving up not too long ago.

He seems to have toned it down since signing on for the this fight, they're actually very friendly and look like they get along well in the promotion of it.

I'm sure Pac still feels he was disrespected and would love nothing better than to make Marquez pay with a KO victory, hope he does anyway.

JMM refused to give him an immediate rematch for a 750,000 payday and went to fight Chris John for 31,250 in Indonesia, made Pac wait for 4 years. That's why Pac also made JMM wait for 4 years. Pac fought David Diaz instead for 3,125,000.

 

The guy's been on his case for years - claiming he was on the end of robberies (when he wasn't). Not surprised in the least bit that Pac is annoyed by him.

But with that said, JMM is a cool dude. Legend.

 

I think Pac wants to clear his name and settle the score after Juan claiming he was on the wrong side of 2 robberies for the last couple of years

 

The word robbery gets over used but I think most neutral fans feel that Marquez should have got the nod in both of their fights. That creates a sense of injustice so I can definitely see why it is personal.

Technically the first round of the first fight was scored incorrectly 10-7 by one judge but Pac never mentions that.
