Haye is a heavy hitter without question but he's not a particularly good finisher at all, the two are exclusive. Sure, he's got the job done most times but against more ring savvy opponents he'd have struggled..... it's not a personal criticism (for a change) it's a flaw/shortcoming as part of his makeup as a fighter. It can be backed up with video evidence if you like Like DFT said yesterday, Booth has done lots of good things with him, thinking outside the box on certain things, but at times his lack of technique was apparent. Of course that's not helped by several prolonged spells out of the ring. Compare his fights at cruiser to his HW fights..... he's a completely different fighter, not for the better either.
His attitude, in his fight with Klitschko he reminded me of Naz vs Barrera as if all he needed to do was turn up and he'd win.
His low-output of punches per a fight. When you look at punches thrown per a fight for Haye its quite poor.
Pretty much said before balance, Footwork's not the greatest and stamina is still pretty shoddy but gets away with it for the most part.

:deal This. He's two one dimentional. I feel if Plan A of going in and bombing your oppenent out doesn't work, he seems to run out of idea's. He has he's favoured one two but he never seems to put a lot of punches together. Plus he's a ****.
That hasn't been his plan for ages. He was always cagey, but now his performances, even against Valuev, have been so negative they've been embarrassing.
I blame Adam Booth to a large extent. It's sorta like he's found a formula and just used it over and over and over...
You're right about that, and I can give him a pass for those, Thompson because he was young and naive, albeit against an opponent who'd seen better days, and Valuev because it was the 12th round. My point is that his technique goes completely to pot - he'll set up and attack really well to land a hard shot on somebody, then when they're visibly hurt all thought goes out of the window. The common theme here is that he lost his composure, he was aided by the fact that his opponents were either knackered or scared and could exploit the error. A fighter like Nigel Benn who was most dangerous when hurt would have laid a guy out in that situation, watch the Anthony Logan fight for evidence. This is how you finish a guy off......
