Id fear for Hopkins safety if this fight went through.

remember the early rounds of Hopkins/Pascall 1, this would be like that, except Bernard wouldn't be getting up from Hayemakers like he did pascalls far less powerful shots

oh my god. yes haye could of tryed a hell of a lot more but **** me klit fought like a ***** aswell. he couldnt put haye away or even hurt him and haye caught him with some good shots marking him up. it seems like haye got whooped due to the hype of him being the saviour but lets get this into perspective here. he did a lot better than a vast majority of klit oponents have done and simply was not big enough. his flopping to the floor was a stratigy to try stop the much much bigger man from leaning the way he does other fighters. also the broken toe may have played a part who knows? but haye vs b hop? jesus bernard you would get decapitated especially giving away 20lbs.. if haye is bigger than an opponent and he can bully you he is very good offensivley. look at his ko ratio.

    you disagree?

i honestly wouldn't want to see b-hop in the ring with a guy with genuine top level heavyweight power.

he got put on his ass twice by pascal who froch walked through at 168. he takes a bang from a proper hw & he's not getting up...especially at his age.

B-Hop should go after Povetkin to make history, Haye brings nothing to the table in terms of historic value. He may fill in a few seats in Britian, but if Hopkins were to beat Haye (and thats an if), what does that add him in terms of accomplishments? Beating Povetkin at least gives him a paper title. i think B-Hop could outbox Povetkin too. Haye is more dangerous...

Hopkins talking about leaving the ring with no regrets is pretty laughable considering his flat performances against Jermain Taylor.

Hopkins was visibly very hurt against Pascal. One flush Haye bomb out of nowhere could do some serious damage to him.
