Clev just smashed through McIntosh, I'd love it to be the same against Bomber.

I do like Bellew, and I'd back him in any other fight - but Clev is my boy.

He destroyed Danny Mac. I remember the fighters gf's arguing about who would win before it commenced. Gutted the camera didn't pan back once Clev smashed Danny Mac. A proper beatdown it was :yep

I don't know.... he's been asked for his opinion on a fight and he's given it, he'd look daft if he gave it the ''Tony will destroy him'' line only for Cleverly to do the opposite.

It's been a while since they've split now so both are free to speak as they want.

Agreed. It's not like he said Clev will do an absolute job on him, and he is a clear favourite.

they will go toe to toe and clev will take him out within 3 rounds.

clev is to fast, accurate and hit to hard for bellew. all bellew has is power and he needs time to get that going. in a shoot out he wont put a dent on clev.

I was asked my opinion on the Cleverly Bellew fight. I happen to think that Cleverly will have the speed & work rate to take the fight on points. However if fighting at Cruiserweight I think Bomber takes it, infact Bomber could go all the way, again just to reiterate this is only my opinion which I was asked.

Cleverlys speed and workrate will be too much and the stoppage will come mid rounds.

    Agreed.

Arnie shouldn't have to explain himself at all. Straight forward question with a straight forward answer. He's not slagged anybody off.

I don't get the theory behind Bellew improving at Cruiserweight. His strentgh at Light Heavy is that he is so much taller, stronger and bigger than the guys he is fighting and he blows them away.

At Cruiserweight he will go from the biggest fighter in his division to average-small. He doesn't have the type of physique to bulk up as he is lanky. If Bellew does ever move up to Cruiserweight he would need at least a year before he fights a live opponent to build up to 200lbs.

If he just came in at his natural size now he would get blown away against the fringe contenders like Frenkel, Alafoabi, Kayode etc. would need to completly change his style to being a fast and elusive fighter if he was up agaisnt bigger men.

His natural size is probably 190lbs, that would be absolutely fine.

Steve Cunningham had always been in the low 190s for his fights until recently.

I'm not convinced he'd need to change his style too much, with the extra weight on him he'd be more confident in his punch resistance and could plant his feet more and fight in the pocket, his natural instinct (to me) is to be a bit of everything, leading, countering, gunslinging.....

Size isn't everything, 5-10lbs is nothing in the grand scheme of things, especially at those weights.
