Very sad, Povetkin is no Champ. Wlad deserves a stay busy if he wants to. He cleaned out the division for years.
oh dear. this is what annoys me about klit fans. jmm is certainly not a viable name at all. hell holyfield is more viable as is toney. other fans accept **** fights but klit fans pretend they wanted it all along.
It would be great to see Wlad being so active in 2012.:good I think in this case his schedule would look like: March 2012 - Dimitrenko in Germany July 2012 - Thompson/Chambers winner in Ukraine on our 70 000 stadium (Olympic Stadium). Dimitrenko would be logical choise here, cause he is Ukrainian too, but he is popular in Germany, and I doubt there would be a lot of money for Wlad - Thompson II and especially Wlad - Chambers II in Germany while in Ukraine people would be glad just to see Wlad fighting somebody. December 2012 - hopefully, Helenius in Germany. But more realistically - Mariusz Wach
to be fair, in general, wlad's opposition has been at the absolute highest level and that can't be denied. look at the belt holders he's cleared out over the last 6 years. it just annoys me when poor fights are being made and maybe that's me not being in tune with the business side of things, i dunno.
we all know this fight is shite...its a mismatch..but we also know that in boxing sometimes it happens..champions cant always get top challangers in the ring all the time..if it was to happen all the time then wed have something to moan about..so far wlad hasnt really let us down with his opponents has he??
does dimi not want vitali??for some reason eastern bloc fighters dont want to fight wlad..im sure they have there reasons
At least Dimitrenko will have a slim puncher chance against Wlad. As for Wlad, I think it would be good for him to fight 2 tall heavyweights before facing Helenius, who, in my opinion, will be much better fighter a couple of years from now (while Helenius himself needs to fight tall fighters too to prepare for Wlad). I know Wlad fought a lot of tall heavyweights, but this was years ago - he hadn't fought really tall opponent since July 2008.
Hey Chef, Great to hear from you! Just curious, do the K. Brothers see Tarver, Ustinov, M. Grant, S. Cunningham, G. Jones as viable options? Tarver already fought at HW, Cunningham and Jones have recently said they plan on moving up. Was Wach offered the fight with Wlad as well?
mate im not a fan of helenius all he has is punching power and ofcourse that does give you the perverbial punchers chance..helenius just dosnt have the skill level..he will be a danger when the klits have gona but if wlad dosnt deteriate soon hel have no chance against him
Mormeck is the greatest win in David Haye's career. Imagine Haye's resume without beating Mormeck for the Cruiserweight titles? Winning the CW titles against mormeck allowed Haye to move up and win a paper belt against Valuev. Then cash out with a big paycheck against Klitschko. Hayes two biggest wins are : 1. Mormeck 2. Valuev And Haye almost lost both fights.
I dont know... Wlad has mandatories. Who know by that time if it will be a vol or mand. The alphabets will determine what direction wlad goes in...unfortunately
wont happen i think! chambers if he wins and i think he will win against thompson ! He really doesnt like the idea of fighting wladimir again! He wants vitali
