This is the ONLY interesting fight out there for Fitch I feel right now. I would actually be really pumped up for this fight. Maybe they will have him fight the winner of Shields/Ellenberger after he gets through his next opponent. :deal
I agree. Fitch-Shields should have been made. I expect both to win their next fights, so hopefully it still happens. Shields will win I think, and it'll be a much better fight than people think IMO.
This has to be the most boring fight that the UFC could make for Fitch Fitch Diaz would be a great contrast of styles pitting two of the best WW's in the world together , if Diaz beats Penn and Sheilds beats Hendricks for me this is a co main Meanwhile Ellenberger is very kean to fight Fitch , and you have Penn if he beats Diaz , then there's the GSP re match depending if Fitch can display the type of form he was displaying post Penn against Hendricks
I disagree dude. I do agree however that Diaz/Fitch would be interesting, but seem to think Fitch would just take him down, and hold him down for 3 rounds....just like every other Fitch fight. Shields though, he poses a problem for Fitch and will force him out of his comfort zone. There is no way Fitch is going to lay n pray Shields all fight. That is why I feel this fight is the only interesting fight other than the Penn rematch, for Fitch. Because Shields can out-grapple Fitch. :deal
They dropped the ball by not letting Shields fight Anderson. WOuld have looked a lot like Sonnen vs Shields, except without a submission. Gotta protect Anderson though.
