look for Mayweather to potshot, run and fight defensively on a way to win a boring decision while his followers call it a masterpiece.

    Historically speaking....

This is going to be a one sided beat down by Ortiz. This isn't no little old man chasing a pot shoter. 160lb fight night power southpaw in his prime at his peak weight.
    WAR Victor.

I'm almost positive Floyd won't run in this fight

I expect it honestly, But Ortiz has a few things that Floyd hasnt had to deal with since moving up from 135. and if Ortiz doesnt allow that type of fight things could get really ugly for Mr Mayweather.
But I do agree with you

Really now? I am sure he may start out thinking its okay to stand in there but once Victor bumps his head he will defently start running

he has to run and pot shot. there's no other way he wins. this is mayweather we're talking about. anyone who thinks he's going to stand in there and trade for even a second is out of their mind.

That's the same thing they said before the Mosley and Hatton fights as well. Mayweather really hasn't done much running since the Castillo fight. The latter part of the Baldo fight is the only one I can recall where he did a lot of runnning and pot shotting. Although I do agree he's not going to be trading punches.

I'm not so sure. He stood in there with Mosley in his last fight, a fighter everyone thought he'd surely run from, but he didn't, despite getting rocked hard early. plus, Mayweather has always fought more aggressively against southpaws.

so I would actually be kind of surprised if he started running. But we'll see.

He wont run and pot shot or stand and trade. We'll be seeing the Mayweather from the Mosley fight on Saturday. Skilled and accurate counter punching, although this time against an opponent with relatively low ring IQ and sloppy defense.

    TKO 6-8

Seriously, I can only think of one fight in which what Floyd did could be considered running and that was against Carlos Baldomir. Most of you kids probably didn't see that fight in the Phillipines anyway.

Agree pretty much. Like Ricky Hatton.

Floyd said himself he is not going to run around. I expect floyd to be in front of him and counter the living **** out of ortiz, face it, no way ortiz could win this fight unless he lands a lucky punch and knocks floyd out.
