No one. Just like Miguel Cotto. Or Pac's next opponent, JMM, whom Pac already beat, and whom Floyd also beat.

JMM was also beaten by Freddie Norwood and Chris John. How many of those guys would beat Pac?

When you are the best fighter in the world, like Floyd, you stand head and shoulders above all. Comes with the territory!

It's funny that Floyd gets the blame for not fighting Cotto, but Cotto gets a pass for not going after Floyd.

The same Zab that, after coming off back to back losses and a year long layoff, split Cotto's face open and had him bleeding like a stuck pig all night long.

it's like these guy go back and look for guys that was in the division at the same time as Floyd and if it didn't happen, the Floyd was ducking.
"Oh Floyd and casamayor were at 135 together, but they never fought. Floyd ducked"

    it's pathetic

Exactly. Anyone wanna show me proof of Cotto ever looking like he was remotely calling Floyd out.

Continually people talk about Mayweather should have fought Cotto in 2008 and continually I have to remind people that Cotto was not going to fight Mayweather in 2008. Cotto was going to fight Margarito then fight De La Hoya if he beat Margarito. Mayweather was not an option for Cotto in 2008. Margarito may have been an option though since De La Hoya didn't want to fight Margarito. Hoya said he didn't want his last fight to be vs another Mexican. But then again Margarito at that time may have not been an option until Arum made the Cotto rematch first.

does anybody know the timeline when this offer happened?

i'm predicting that floyd and ellerbe wanted cotto when TR was pushing for Margo-Floyd.

Sweet, innocent Cotto doesnt do such things. He is respectful, and only does what his promoter tells him.

He is too saintly to call out an opponent.

Look at this face: Should he have to ever go after anyone?

What i remember was floyd saying he wouldn't fight Cotto because Cotto ain't got no fan base. This was the time when Cotto was heating up at 147.

I didn't know floyd wanted to fight him when Cotto was still green.
