    Oops, I didn't notice that.

WBC (Wife Beating Coward) is Floyd's favorite belt.

after DLH, Hatton...he retired, "I won't let boxing retire me."

my question still, when did floyd/ellerbe asked to fight cotto?

is it the same time as when arum/tr was pushing for margo-floyd?

The biggest fight to be made in 2008 was Floyd vs Cotto. Floyd killed the idea saying Cotto is not a big name enough to merit a fight with him. He went on to "retire."

    Cotto in an interview
“When you call yourself the best boxer in the world you have to fight with the best. There are other names at 147 pounds and if Mayweather does not have the courage to get in the ring to fight with me, my career has to continue. I won’t wait for him.” –Miguel Cotto 2008

Right, so the guys mentioned in this article that are likely to fight Cotto are the ones that Top Rank has the rights to.

    Gee, I wonder why?:rofl:rofl:rofl

And he said the idea seemed "far fetched", yet he NEVER even made an offer.

That's more of Arum's BS, it proves nothing. It is shocking how the only fighters Floyd fears are Top Rank fighters. Arum must put something in thier food to make them such fearsome beats!!:yep

These ***** ****ers seem to forget that Floyd retired right after his fight with DLH. He came out to take advantage of an easy payday with Hatton and retired again after the fight.

And what did Hatton do to drag Floyd out of retirement. You remember the famous statement. Hatton was doing exactly what Cotto should have been doing. Putting pressure on Floyd through the media. He never did because he never was really interested in the fight.

    Did floyd fight them? NO

Did floyd "retire" after DLH? Yes

Did floyd "retire" after Hatton? Yes

Was there a great 147lbs line up by the time Floyd decided to "retire"? Yes

that's a great way to duck right there
