we want Marquez at 140. I would have been ok with this fight if it was at 140.

But then he decided to fight at 144 where Manny weighs in at normally anyways

Of course Floyd didn't "cherry pick" JMM when he agreed to a fight at 144....only to come in at 146 and make NO attempt at honoring his word and contract...instead, Floyd made it "rain" and new contracts with updated weight stipulations manifested and JMM was $600K richer.

ok so I guess you're fine with Bradley being next
No Floyd doesn't know it. I hear interviewers bring up to Floyd that Manny agreed to it and then FLoyd will say that he hasn't agreed to ****. Remember that they said Manny agreed to it last year, but turns out it was still a cutoff. So Floyd could still be thinking that's what they want.

And Floyd isn't dancing around it. He's saying practically the same thing

so what would be the difference if this fight happens at 140, 144 or 147 when both guys would be weighing the same come fight night?

I don't remember many people saying Pac was ducking Bradley. I like this matchup, and every time it's brought up, you see a bunch of comments about how Bradley would get destroyed.

same reason a lot of you guys say Floyd should have fought Hatton at 140. Except Marquez won't weigh more than Manny the day of the fight and he's 2 divisions lower instead of one

i never said floyd should have fought hatton at 140 but i've said that pacquiao's win over hatton at 140 is much better since that is hatton's effective weight.

yes I am fine with that Bradley is arguably the top dog at 140 right now that is not Amir Khan, he's fast he's aggressive and his head is a big target. I can see a catchweight of 144 for this fight as well.
