From his twitter: 'Floyd Mayweather surely knows too much for Ortiz. But unless he fights Pacquiao history will take a dim view...and rightly so.' Harsh I think. If the fight never happens both their legacies are secure.
Not harsh at all. He's bang on the money. Pacquaio's legacy is very much secure. Floyd, with his already established WW history of avoiding the toughest fights, really can't afford to not make this fight happen.
history will take a dim view of the person who refused to undergo testing to ensure that he wasnt cheating
Im not his biggest fan, but I cannot argue with him on that one. Apart from the fact I think Ortiz is going to win to render the Pac debate meaningless.
Ian Darke or no Ian Darke, this is not the place for Mayweather/Pacman talk zzzzzzzz When it happens I'll say yada yada..general forum please.
History won't give a **** about the testing. Because most, if not all, reasonable people will acknowledge this drug-testing farce for the bull**** it is, and that Pacquiao didn't need to prove anything to anyone.
Harsh on his career as a whole but I guess its down to how you judge Mayweathers welterweight career as to if you think its harsh on that part in particular.
When a fighters head goes from being round to square its only reasonable that he should expect to answer one or two pertinent questions
they will fight, **** me cant anyone see its the biggest ppv build up in the history of the sport.........................CHRIST!!!!! you have all been done if you buy into anything both camps say or do.....its a SET UP FOR YOU'RE PPV MONEY........BOXING IS A BUISNESS END OF............... FLOYD VS MANNY..........SPRING/SUMMER 2012............. HOLD ME TO THAT.
They had this thing built for everyone a year or two ago mate. It's a bit stale now I honestly couldn't care less with it after the amount of **** they go through after every fight. Don't get me wrong come fight night I'll be excited but now I don't bother with all the hype.
I certainly will NOT hold you to that! Floyd is plain scared of the pacman, & I say that as a long term fan of Mayweather jnr, Floyds only fighting now to pay the bills as the debts are mounting, or he would have been happily retired & gloating about his 0 Calzaghe style by now.
i can see where you are coming from bud, but the way i see it the longer it goes on the more interest it gets imo, floyd brutalises ortiz then manny does the same to marquez................enter STATEMENT FROM GOLDEN BOY!
