Joe Cortez will find a way to ruin this fight

    You can bank on that. No matter how much we want this to be a great fight, Joe won't let it happen. He will be darting in and out of the action whether or not it is warranted. He will be in the fighter's way; he will be talking too much to them. You name it.

    This had the makings of an exciting fight until Cortez was named the referee.

    The only guarantee in this fight is that Joe will find a way to muck it up.

    Just like umpires ruin baseball games and referees ruin football games and basketball games....get real. People make mistakes but the fight will be determined between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Victor Ortiz. People say he didn't let Hatton hold....holding is against the rules so get on Cortez for enforcing rules. A knockdown was called in the Pac-Man vs. Mosley fight that shouldn't have been. There is human error in everything. Quit making excuses already for whoever loses this fight.

    Cortez sucks as a ref. I've seen him ruin one too many fights in my time.

    Cortez is the most involved ref in the business. Nobody stops the action more than him. That's why Team Mayweather loves him.

    rumor has it that floyd will give the signal to cortez to do his thang at the start of 3rd round...from then on ortiz will not be able to follow up on his attacks.

    Maryweather fough scared against Hatton and will fight scared vs Ortiz.

    Cortez will do a fine job. Hatton is not the example you guys need to use to go after Cortez, sorry mates. What Hatton did to Tszyu was not legal or watchable. Hattons style was not built to last, ask Mayweather and Pacquiao.
