I can see Ortiz walking away with the nod in a close one.

My pick? Mayweather inside of 9.. I don't think Ortiz will be able to defend himself with the constant potshotting.

I hope Ortiz wins this.. Biggest night of his life.. It won't be easy, but he will give his all.

 

This only makes since if floyd stands around taking punches, do you really think floyd is going to stand around and allow Ortiz to pound on him..

I actually think that Ortiz can win this fight if he doesn't wilt. I just feel that he is a mental midget and will quit once things aren't going his way.

Ortiz will overwhelm Floyd. The power is not there to deter Victor. Ortiz will be more active and the pace and inactivity will make Floyd look ordinary against the youngster.
Floyd will give Ortiz too many opportunities to get off and he won't have old legs in front of him to sit and counter. His last few opponents were in it for the money or for an experiment at Welter. Victor is coming to take his head off. if Victor can neutralize Floyd's right hand it could be the biggest shocker of the decade.

Victor is dumb enough to win this fight. He fights a different way then Shane,Hatton,ODLH, JMM all who tried to box Floyd. Victor is too dumb to box he will brawl and has all the tools physically. This is the style to beat Floyd, prime Welter power and the time is nearly perfect.

I think this will be a tougher fight than most expect.

Ortiz is big, good speed, power, I think he may put Mayweather down or hurt him.

My official prediction is 9-3 Mayweather but some of the rounds are closer but clear for him.


I won't be shocked if Ortiz pulls off an upset but I'd be surprised if that makes sense. Ortiz came out like a mad man vs Berto. And Mayweather isn't Berto, but he is slowing and aging.


It will be a good win for Mayweather, nothing more, Ortiz is the 3rd best fight out there for him, but that's just how it is with Mayweather or Pac, they are so far above the best, every fight can be downgraded.

 

Nah, this fight is easy work for Floyd.
