Round 3

Loeza comes forward into a 1-2 and responds with a wild combo, swinging at empty ropes as Grant steps off to the side. Loeza continues to walk into jabs and high right hands willingly, landing body shots and clubbing overhands as he tries to manhandle the sharper punching but physically weaker Grant and smear him into a solid surface. Good action as Loeza keeps coming forward throwing heavy punches, with Grant throwing more educated but less effective counters backing up.

 

Round 4

Grant runs and jabs. Loeza lands a BIG overhand right, turning Grant's head. Another one knocks his mouthpiece out and into the eighth row! Hard counter uppercut by Grant with his back to the corner, finally stems off the Loeza attack! Robert Byrd takes advantage of the slight relative break in the action to get the mouthpiece back in. Loeza keeps trying to drown Grant in a shallow pool of jabs and overhand rights. BIG 1-2 by Grant thrown beautifully while backing up and still cracking Loeza's now-marked-up face with a sickening sound. Loeza chases and turns over jabs while Grant steps back and lines up lead rights. One, two, three huge rights eaten by Loeza coming forward! Not a blink!

 

Nice little fight.

I could honestly see it 39-37 either way or a draw.

Eh, not sure about Cheatum's card. Grant took the first and Loeza the second pretty unambiguously IMO, and then the third and fourth just became a back and forth free for all.

Both have losing records, and neither can change that with a win here...but they can narrow the gap.

Round 1

Morales is a pure slugger. He comes forward and instantly drapes his fleshy arms over Carthron's face. Carthron tries to back out and do some tidier work with his jab and uppercut but keeps having to push Morales off - no small feat. Morales insistently wades in and sumo-thrusts Carthron back into the ropes. Carthron tries to get in what few counters he can before he's involuntarily motorboating those tits. Morales takes some big shots and appears to have a serviceable chin.

 

Round 2

Morales is now playing boxer, crouching as much as his flab allows and jabbing to the body before returning to as tight a guard as his tits allow. Carthron adopts a low-left stance and jabs up and down at him whlie backing up. Carthron is doing a bit of a Mayweather impersonation. Morales throws a high right hand but is very slow getting from point A to point B. Carthron digs several body shots and doesn't even jiggle Morales' belly. His fists literally seem to stick for an instant before getting ripped free. Morales tosses the textbook over the top rope, and tosses some wild shots with either hand over Carthron's gloves while backing him up. Carthron continues to back up and swing underhanded, landing on the giant food pit below those D cups.

 

Round 3

They jab together, Carthron barking. Carthron is now making noise with every body shot he throws, and probably wasting some wind. You don't want to be the guy who gases out before Alvaro Morales. That isn't cool. Carthron is jabbing and playing Mayweather...except Mayweather wouldn't be hit with slow jabs and sloppy pie-in-the-face rights by a welterweight equivalent of Morales (of course, he wouldn't be in with a welterweight equivalent of Morales...the man doesn't have a loss, let alone a losing record and can therefore be a bit pickier about his opponents...still...) Carthron is backed to the ropes and gets another face full of boob. Carthron is tapping the body and breathing hard through his mouth, paying dearly for all that grunting as he returns to his stool with a pained expression.

 

Round 4

Carthron now decides to take the initiative and buries his face right in that hot and sweaty nook, using it as a headrest as he pushes up hard body shots in threes and fours. Morales seems oblivious to anything that lands anywhere on his corpulence, from chin to highly elastic belt. He just keeps taking it all in good humor and throwing left-right-left-rights whenever Carthron deigns to move backward (and not move his damn head, despite acting like a slick boxer).

 

Round 5

Carthron jabs and exclaims "HUH!" - and gets whacked in the sides of the face with the turkey leg forearms of Morales. Carthron is still doing his best work to the body, but still having no noticeable effect on Morales with it. Carthron is held against the ropes and taking overhand rights upside the back of his head. Carthron tries to work uppercuts to the body while both his arms are pinned in front of him, the result being just flicks of his wrist down near Morales' groin that go unnoticed by both the referee and the gordo guerrero (who probably has a protective layer of blubber around his cojones grandes).

 

Round 6

They touch gloves. The remaining crowd (most have left) don't seem to appreciate the seconds ticking off the clock wasted by the show of sportsmanship. They seem to think a knockout is still a possibility in this one (for whom, I'm not sure) and are egging them on to brawl more. Carthron for one isn't willing to oblige, seeming to want to box his way to the final bell from the outside. Morales is somehow able to stay in front of him and force some up and down bowing and clinching. Morales is actually landing some thudding overhand rights and wide left hooks. All Carthron wants to do is spoil and land a couple of uppercuts to the gut in the clinch. Now Morales tries his own imitation of Carthron's two-handed body attack. Jab to the body by Morales.

Fatty definitely won the last round.
