Isnt that what happens most of the time. Didnt Fury book a date and venue for his Belfast fight without talking to an opponent .Rogan is a sell out he has lost all credability as a fighter .

You talk some serious gash Pat.

In this case I don't think Rogan has done himself too much ill mind you. I would rather he just got back on track and focused himself a little more but he's not really mugged himself off here to be fair. I've no problems giving Rogie a pass on this one.

However this notion that 'how could he' lose any credibility because 'he is a fighter' is ****ing stupid. There is more to being a man than being a fighter. Yes it takes bollocks to get in there and slug it out and we give all fighters respect for that. However to think that being a fighter means you are above reproach is ridiculous.

As for your little gayboys comment I think that sums you up. You're so one-dimensional it's ridiculous. The world according to Pat. No boxers can ever be questioned in anything they do by people who don't box because boxers are fantastic just because they box and the rest of the world are chicken hearted 'gayboys'.

****ing hell grow a brain will you. Boxing requires courage no doubt but there are plenty of things ordinary people do from day to day that are just as brave and courageous. Get your head out of your arse and you might get taken a little more seriously on here.

Fighters can lose credibilty when they spit shite like the WBU belt is as big as the Klithckos belts and is a real world title fight .

What Rogan is trying to do is con the casual boxing fan who dont have much of a clue between the different belts like the WBA,IBF,WBO etc .

I used to be a big fan of Rogan and travelled from Dublin to Belfast to watch his fights were he gave it everything and he would face anyone but know I think he is trying to cash in with the casuals by fighting bull**** opponents like pinada.

That's my point Moorser - Hennessy should have spoken to Rogan before booking the venue. Rogan was the fighter they wanted and they tried to get him by boxing him into a corner and playing on his pride. He didn't seem to be given enough time in my opinion, I feel it was discourteous but I acknowledge it was a great tactic from Fury's camp.

As for this happening most of the time..? Quite possibly true if your looking to fight any sort of opponent and looking to pick up an easy win. But if your looking to fight a particular fighter (Rogan), for particular belts (British, Commonwealth & Irish), one of which had to be vacated then you should speak to him first and negotiate date, venue and purse.

Rogan's definately handled this affair badly and lost some credibility but I just think the scale of the abuse is unwarranted.

If your going to call Rogie a con for doing this then you need to be consistent and lable Dunne, Rock, Ward, Magee, Neary, Coyle, Fitzgerald and Hyland as cons too for fighting for alphabet titles.

Nope, up bright and early to comment on ESB :D

Yep, in with a shout but they have to take advantage of the chances they're getting, you won't get too many in this game

If O'Gara was on we'd be 12 points up now. Kidney needs to bring him on.
