Every fighter gets hurt when they take clean shots. You need to wake up to reality son and lay off the pipe.

Mayweather has proven he has a chin, you are trippin. Never been knocked down in his career says a lot, regardless of his defensive ability. Sweat Pea had great defense, and even he got knocked down.

Your perception that other fighters "eat up shots no problem" is way off base. Every fighter gets hurt from clean punches. You don't need to go crumbling to the canvas to be hurt either.

Interesting to think if your temple punch resistance degrades so much with age. Major props to anyone who can hit Floyd there more than once.

In 41 pro fights you can count on one hand how many times Mayweather has even been hurt , granted he doesnt get hit cleanly alot , but when he does his chin is solid !!!!!

ok so other fighters take those punches better, its the same meaning, your just playing with semantics. You guys like talk about how Floyd was able to take a couple right hands from an old ass mosley, yet Cotto took like a 100 more of those without looking like he was about to go down. And cotto is known to have a bit of a susceptible chin. Look at all those shots Margarito took from mosley. Oh I bet none of those were on the temple right? Seriously if you love Floyd more power to you, but get off his nuts a little bit.

Don't bother, I already had him on ignore but for some reason decided to read his post.

As usual, filled with bull****. His comments make me wonder if he's ever taken a punch before.

I think he meant it in the way that you're more likely to get to Floyd's temple rather than his chin, which is true and smart advice to give.

like what is wrong with him. He has said:
    Floyd doesn't have a jab
Floyd doesn't go to the body
    Floyd isn't versatile
    Floyd doesn't adapt
    Floyd fights only one way
Floyd doesn't have a good chin
    Floyd doesn't throw combinations

and I'm sure there is more :-(
I'm not making any of that up either. I have argued with him about all of that

He didn't drop him, but he cuffed him with a nice right hook to the temple, which probably should have been ruled a knockdown. He wasn't hurt though.

Again, all fighters get hurt with clean punches: Cotto, Margarito, Mosley, Oscar, Floyd, Pacquiao, whoever..... They are human beings son, not machines.

A good chin is the ability to bounce back from a good shot, and Mayweather has shown this ability when he has been caught. It doesn't mean the guy is Jake Lamotta, but saying his chin has never been tested in 41 professional fights and about 100 amateur fights is beyond ridiculous. Nobody is saying he has the best chin ever, but it has proven to be solid.

Have you ever boxed before? Be honest......

And hate to break it to you: I'm a REAL boxing fan. There is not a fighter I dislike in boxing. Sorry if that doesn't fit your "ra ra I'm an idiot fanboy" attitude. Been watching boxing for a good 25 years. Maybe if you shut the **** up and read, you might learn something son.

I agree and using my cotto example again, Floyd got caught with two clean right from mosley and was holding on for dear life both times. Cotto took way more right hands from a younger mosley, and never looked like he was in that much trouble. Would you say cotto has an iron chin?

I've seen a lot of you floyd fanboys say his chin iron / granite.

I guess we agree on something.

I dont need to box to tell the difference between an average/decent chin and a good/great chin.

You've never boxed. You have no idea what it's like to get caught, or what it's like to recover from a good shot. Basically, your opinion on the matter is complete bull**** as it does not stem from REAL LIFE EXPERIENCE. Your comments about guys "walking through punches like nothing" really illustrate this point. Even if it doesn't SEEM to affect them, believe me it does and they got hurt. I'm sure there are many guys who still box on this forum that will say the same thing. "Yea, I took the shot and kept coming, but it still ****ing hurt."

Secondly, Don't confuse me with Mayweather fanboys. I don't give a **** what they have said, I am my own person son.

Last, Floyd was holding on for dear life? You need to watch that round again son. Mayweather started walking Mosley down almost immediately after and went to the body as well. You need to take the hater shades off little boy. Mosley got hurt by a short left hook at the end of that very same round as well.
