Now a right cross to the sternum backs Vargas up and makes him bounce his back off the ropes. Lopez comes forward and lands a hard right, as Vargas flurries back at him with left and right straights on the back foot. Lopez gets in and grabs him. BIG overhand right by Lopez. Another one! Vargas circles left and pops some stiff jabs. Flurry by Vargas trying to stay out of the corner. Lots of movement by Vargas. His feet are just gently kissing the canvas. Lots of jabs by Vargas. Lopez is loading up with big clock-hand rights, chasing Vargas slowly across the ring. Vargas is throwing lots of jabs and staccato combos while on the run. Lopez is landing most of his rights across the top of Vargas's left shoulder as Vargas turns his head down and to the right. Lopez is just swinging his way inside and getting an arm trapped with every rush, working his free one until told to break. Lopez isn't landing very cleanly but keeping the pressure firmly on Vargas.
