Morales is jabbing high and throwing rights to the body but not getting there. Cano lands a counter uppercut and keeps backing up and jabbing. Morales starts to pick up the pace and jabs his way in to set up hard straight rights. Wild slapping right by Morales now. Cano moves to his left and throws a 1-2 to prevent Morales from heading him off.

Morales is missing badly with wild swings coming forward. Cano leads him on and flicks out soft counters. Finally Morales connects with a hard right hand!! Cano scraps with him momentarily before backing out. Cano throws a jab/uppercut combo but is rocked by another right hand. Cano is cut! Morales keeps pounding his way in, landing a right to the body. BIG LEFT HOOK!!! CANO IS HURT AND HOLDS! Morales lands a clubbing overhand right and is held. Left hook to the hairline by Morales. Cano flurries back, little on his punches and not keeping Morales away. Cano starts trying to assert his jab again. Morales feints a jab and then a hook, getting Cano to think about throwing a premature counter. Instead the younger boxer just backs away wisely.

Morales is jabbing from range, almost tit for tat with the younger man. Cano is circling out to his left, throwing a large volume of hyper-extended long light punches. Now Morales is pushed into the ropes and stunned by a right hand! Cano is all over him! Cano bombing him as Morales starts to turn and roll with the punches. Cano steps out of the pocket to give him a rest. Now Morales steps in with a hook and right hand! Cano now is stunned! Morales slugs away with him! Cano is cut on BOTH eyes now, and puffed up! BIG right hand by Cano!!!

Morales is coming forward and getting tapped with soft jabs on the widow's peak. Nice right hand by Morales, doubled! Cano now lands a good combo of hooks and rights! Morales lands a hook of his own, and then jabs at the body. Another left hook lands for Morales. Cano is backing up and jabbing, but eating hooks as Morales charges in on him. Double left hook to the body by Cano, and a right hand to the jaw. Morales continues to creep forward and lands a BIG left hook just as Cano landed a low blow unseen by Bayless. Another good left hook by Morales.

Morales stumbles forward and gets stabbed in the gut with long uppercuts by Cano. Morales is coming forward at a very slow pace, as Cano comfortably lets his arms fly from long range. Morales is bleeding from the left eye. Long combo to the face by Cano, with Morales not looking hurt but not answering back. Cano is nearly caught with a big chopping right hand but manages to swerve backward with a wide step and a lean back at the waist. Morales throws a right to the body and comes up short. Cano is slipping Morales' jab and landing soft body shots. Morales misses a jab while moving backward. Cano is pushing him around the ring and sweeping with hooks.
